Going into the folders and seeing if they've been posted in is a idea but its sorta like me starting at gmail waiting for a email note. xD some of my threads have low traffic so I could be looking at the folder for a day or two.. I think it would be a nice feature in the future :3

This site is barely open to public and it already improve a lot since then. Trisphee is moving little by little and that's what make it unique from the rest of the other avatar sites. It is a unique site and they're always trying their best to make the site a good one. Not everything will satisfy a person need, that's why you have to give it a chance and see what it have to offer. C: You need to be patient, the layout is not fully finish yet.

A site should not be open to the public and asking for money before it's got a more solid piece to present to what we are....customers. What incentive do I have to purchase an item on this site?

The shops are slow. They take much longer to load than they should.

The avatar system is incomplete and having basic features included in it is sort of...basic. Of the 15 or so avatar communities I've beta'd and been a member of, I can say that this one is the most difficult and unpleasant one I've had to use.

Constructive criticism. I don't know who you hired to design your website (the buttons, color scheme, etc) but fire them. I've seen 12 year olds design it better. Invest in a web designer that actually knows a bit about design and you will be flooded with customers. I've heard from a huge chunk of people on this site that the current design and layout of the site is pretty much the main reason they will no longer be visiting the site.

It just really makes me wonder what work went into the 2+ years this site was in development. I'm perfectly aware of what it takes to plan a project that requires art and coding and release it. I'm not ignorant in that aspect. But I've watched other sites develop and open that have a beautiful design, solid systems, and just overall were more pleasing in user friendliness.

You have a confusing avatar system and no basic features in it. The LEAST you could do was have some sort of guide for new users. I got so frustrated trying to make a base avatar that I nearly quit the site right there.

Not trying to be a dick. If it were my site I'd rather have people tell me how it is so I can fix it rather than be all like, "OH EM GEE UR SITE IS SOOOO GR8!" when it's by far not.

Somehow, however, being honest = trolling to 95% of the internet population.

The avatar system is really pretty damn simple. =/ The only difference is that you can layer things however the hell you want. It's not difficult to use. Although, sure, a few basic features would be nice, they do have free ones in the shop (although I do wish we had a free hair or something).

Not to mention it was just mentioned that we /just/ got a coder a couple of months ago. Or... a coder that stuck with us at least.

Maybe try Firefox, IE8, GoogleChrome, etc for that faster loading purpose. <3

Logan, I'm using three different browsers to log on to this site, Firefox, Chromium, and ReKonq. In all of them the speed is NOT optimal, but after browsing the site for a while, it eventually seems to get faster, but that is simply because of cookies.

It doesn't really matter what browser you are using, the avatar and shop loading IS slow.

@Poot: I like our color scheme and buttons...they'd better not change! They have a unique "Trisphee" feel to them, and I like it a lot. As for the color scheme...its green. xD And white I guess. How is green and white a bad color scheme?

If the shops are loading slowly for you, try another browser--I use Chrome, and I've heard firefox works well. I know most avatar sites I've been on develop for Chrome and Firefox mostly. I think Coda's said uses the site on the latest version of Safari. The shops load very quickly for me on the latest version of Chrome, so maybe you should try that.

I see nothing confusing about our avatar system. Layering is dynamic, and the little up-down arrows are pretty self-explanatory. If not, try and click them and see. xD But asking for a guide isn't unreasonable at all. I'm sure there will be one eventually. We're just out of open beta not too long ago, around a month I think? So other things are being focused on right now. But even a user could create said guide. I even might, now, though I don't think there'd be much content in it. xD

What do you think is lacking in "basic features" of the avatar system? I see items for every part of the body and then some, so I seem to be missing what's lacking here.

As far as user friendliness goes, I've only seen a couple of rude comments in my time here--certainly not enough to give me a perception of unfriendliness in the user base. But if you DO see it, and it's blatant rudeness/flaming, report it! That IS the userbase's job--to report users who are acting inappropriately. The staff cannot read every post and check it for rudeness. That is each individual user's job to report it if they are hurt by it, and no one else's.

I love Trisphee. I'm sorry you have all these problems with it, but maybe that just means it's not the match for you in avatar sites. I tell the staff their site is "omg great" because I think it is. I think it's an amazing site, and they take suggestions for new features all the time. If you want something added, suggest it and chances are they'll like it and add it to the list if it's feasible/reasonable. And I'm not afraid to speak up if I actually do have a problem with something. So far, that's nothing at all. I'm very happy here, but I am sorry you're not.

Logan - I'm sure once in a while it may take a second longer to load for you. I have a very good connection and it still is sometimes slower for me. Try comparing the loading times to other sites and see what you think. ^^

It is also a pain to scroll through shops, for example, like the hair shop. It would be much better if they were organized by hair type, then by clicking on a type it would show you the colors. And it is a bit hard to use the avatar system at first.

Okay, I am just trying to show that Poot's feedback is not completely outlandish because it seems that Poot is just being attacked for his views. I think I share in some of those sentiments because they are logical.

It kind of surprises me how people have loading problems =O
I mean, I have the lowest kind of internet speed available (lite), yet you don't even see the items loading. It's just there when I go through it, no matter if I use Firefox or Safari.

But there are other sites that give me more problems with loading. Don't you guys have it with other sites too?

Facebook, dA, livejournal, etc...
I rather not step in Gaia, Solia, Mene, etc..
But i know for sure that they loads fine for me
if i go to their websites unless they have other
stuff on them like pornographies or viruses, then
thats other story.

Well, Poot is allowed to put his opinion, I certainly won't attack him for it, and I do agree with quite a few things he's saying. What others are really trying to say as well though is that 'it's being worked on'. The layout itself isn't even completely done.

All I'm saying is that it is likely those other sites will load their shops and avatars faster, Gaia specifically. Gaia has been around much longer than most avatar sites, and is always used as an example for what 'avatar sites should be like'.

Sure it is filled with either noobs or snobs, but the artists are great and they present themselves well and professionally. That being said, they are one of the fastest loading sites as well.
