I've played the first one and sims 3 and so far sims 3 is my fav.

you can mod the PC version to where your gay couples can have kids that are theirs x3

I know Sims 3 Pets will have some sort of story mode.. at least the PS3 and XBox 360 will.. not sure about the 3DS and PC xp

Xbox 360 didn't on Sims 3 that I could find. It was just have a job....upgrade your house.

And the Sims 2 doesn't on PC which is why I'm disappointed. It's nothing like the console version that I loved.
