wow this weekend has been terrible

especially the past hour

not gonna talk about it (yet) but it has to do with. familial issues. holy shit why am I suddenly the voice of reason among the three of us

i need a drink but i promised myself i wouldn't drink before class days and especially not before the day of a quiz or exam

gods i'm so tired

i haven't had a legitimate weekend in three weeks

yeah, seasons changing tends to mess with things.

a acquaintance's cat died and he's got a delayed grief response, which is pretty normal, all things considered, but it sucks that his cat is dead.

i'm also finding myself unable to help people as much as i'd like to, whether it's from low empathy / emotional burnout or my own problems.

i also still have a very unrequited crush on someone, but as long as they're happy, i'm happy.

EDIT: also, nobody except friends seems to reblog my art on tumblr.fuck -- it's sort of fucking with my self-confidence in the vein that i *know* my art is marginally decent, but nobody seems to like it if they're not reblogging it.

it also really doesn't help that i primarily motivate myself via getting attention.

i'm fully aware that my brain lies to me, but god, it would be nice if i got some sort of attention for making fan-content. then again, the don't starve fandom is sort of dead and there's a few big name fans about that regularly get reblogs.

i'm just. sort of jealous, really.

I hate me.
I feel like everyone else hates me.
I can't talk right, I can't work right, I can't fucking exist right.
All I ever do is try and it never goes anywhere.
Everyone else is just moving on without me and apparently that's just how it is.
What the fuck can I do? I can't make people like me. I can't make people want me around. I just. Can't make friends. Is it because I'm sad? Is it cuz I hate myself? Am I just genuinely repulsive? Am I too nice?? Seems like I had a lot more friends when I was a piece of shit. I just wanna know what the fuck is wrong with me.
All people ever tell me to do is try and that doesn't fucking do shit. Why am I still trying?? There is NO point.

Yeah no one really likes or reblogs my cosplay stuff on tumblr unless it's a friend so my confidence gets shot down. :/ I hardly post on there anymore though.

I can agree my brain also does that to me "No one's noticing your cosplay stuff cause you suck at it and they'll give the attention to someone a lot better than you" ;___;

i'm also part of a stagnating fandom and feel the same. i spent a good month working on a doujin with 20+ pages, released it for free, but it got fewer likes than something that took me a day. comparison is the thief of joy. But most of the fandom is non-English speaking, so I could understand why.

i lost a very good pair of earbuds while putting stuff in my backpack. couldn't find it when i retraced my steps, so i think it got picked up in the span of 10 minutes. i'm so upset.
