Used Canva to assemble a quick shop banner and logo. So far 3 out of 3 people have approved the designs. Wish I had the time and money for some custom art to use, but I need to stop putting it off and just get the shop up.

Will probably eventually see about buying a custom banner, but Canva works for now.
Tonight gonna see if I can finish a few more plushies and then get pics tomorrow of whatever I have done. A couple dragons and a fox right now, but hopefully I can finish an alpaca, pig, monkey, and MAYBE another fox and dragon if I really focus up and work fast. xP

Ended up being absolutely exhausted today and haven't made it out to do the photography, but have rested some and then gone through the astonishing collection of assorted computers/computer cords I've managed to accumulate in the last 15-ish years and boxed up stuff to get rid of. Mainly because I have a used laptop that a friend gave me because they never used it and so I needed (was hoping) to find a cord for it in my stuff so I can use it for Etsy...because that would be easier than managing everything with my phone tbh. But no luck, I'll have to buy a new cord first. Though I can probably do that tomorrow since I genuinely am planning to get out and do the plushie photos then. And might try to tackle a few other errands as well.

So now the plan is just to find something to listen to and keep working on WiPs. And look into the computer cord I need and see if I can maybe order it for pickup tomorrow...

Ordered laptop charge cord. It should arrive Monday hopefully. Until then, just working on plushies and debating when and where to take the product photos. Because I want to do outdoor ones since they're "Adventure Companions", but we just got snow. Like a lot of snow. And I am going to bring fabric for them to sit on still, but it's cold out and idk where the best scenic location is that isn't too far from my place.

I got about zilch done in the past two days. Except for sticking my foot in my mouth again and freaking out.

officially in crunch time for Halloween. working on the wig tonight, as well as finishing my gloves, and if there's time before I pass out, doing more work on the shirt. if not, tomorrow is shirt day, and since it's 90% straight seams and rectangles, it should only take me a couple hours.

Also...Happy Halloween! About half of my costume had to be improvised because stuff didn't arrive in time, but I pulled it off somehow and, though I doubt most people's first thought is "necromancer" it still is very dark and witchy so it works.

Like, I might have had covid again, but was in no shape to walk and get tested, and too cheap to pay the money for the test anyway. Still have shreds of optic migraine, and am still sleeping and runny nose a bit.

back to work on my "...When am I ever gonna use this yarn again?" blanket. it's good for stashbusting. I'd do the BeeKeeper's Quilt, but I don't have enough stuffing for an entire blanket of hexapuffs, sadly.
