Sad but true. We don't even have any arcades in our town now. Ten or fifteen years ago there used to be several. I remember I loved the racing games that let you ride on a slightly tilting motorcycle, even though I sucked at them and usually came in last. What arcade games did you enjoy?

Man I loved going to the arcade. I would try to play the driving games but I was never good at it and I would force my dad to play it for me and win lmao. I was really good at the space invaders and this one zombie shooter. Of course pacman is always a classic.

There's a retro arcade near where I live that has all sorts of old games -- it has a classic Pong machine for cryin' out loud! And Asteroids! Asteroids on the original hardware is an AMAZING experience that emulation just doesn't come anywhere close to replicating.

The local Pizza Hut had a few machines in the back, but it closed last year, I believe. Honestly, never been any good at arcade games. I think I actually got my mom to try a shooting one once. She's, um, a very good shot.

I've got the Galaga one and the Rampage/Gauntlet/Defender/Joust one.
I've been meaning to swap out the guts of the Rampage one for a gaming PC. Haven't gotten around to it... Games by Coda (updated 4/15/2024 - New game: Call of Aether)
