I had a friend of mine make an account. It's activated and everything but she can't log on, even though she's using the correct username/password combination.

Try a password recovery.

Also note if you fail to log in five times in less than 15 minutes you're locked out from logging in for a while.

How long will she be locked out since that's most probably the reason? XD
