The symbol will not be removed, and, the symbol is the most easily recognized 'symbol' regarding balance. It's best not to dwell on it too much. Each NPC created by various members of staff, have all come up with something new and unique for the world to see. However, that also means that each NPC has a story and background to them. That symbol is a key part of that character. I'm sorry if you don't like it, however, the symbol stays. The yin and yang symbol also has nothing to do with earthly holidays. So please refrain from connecting the two.
