Well, the hat was geared toward preteens in design (pattern) but I can wear most of that stuff on my hands and head anyways, so my real mom bought it for me the winter before she moved across the country if I remember right. And there's been plenty of times I got kid sized hats because the adult ones are too big. XD That's why I have a bunny hat. :3

Pretty much but my mom always tells me that I was born with an old soul. So I got hip to mature stuff really quickly. But now in college I have all young friends and a couple of older friends and I'm like I love the place I'm in right now.

Not really, but what does it matter what people think? I have a lot of guy friends. Really it doesn't make much of a difference unless she expecting you to marry and have children at some point in time???

Um...she's also the one that said I'd never be the 'bread winner' if I were to get married and that I'd be stuck doing all of the house work because I'm a girl and my husband won't do it. She said this knowing full well I have a B.A. in Mathematics and that if I could become an account I could possibly make as much as my dad or possibly more because of them being in such high demand in this area. Heck, I could even get a decent job as a book keeper once I get certified.

Sounds like someone is old fashioned.. the husband is the one going out to do the work and the wife stays at home with the children and shit. I know few 'females' who are stay at home moms, many have part time jobs and still do the wife roles and are happy.
Than again, my mom didn't work while I was young, mainly cause we moved every 2-3 years so it wasn't worth her having a job. She did get one when I was old enough to be home on my own and the guy I was sort with, was fine with me going out and finding work. I honestly couldn't be stuck in a house all day. Even now, I am working in hopes of earning what I need to pay for the local college, I am doing online courses and I am not enjoying them. I just bought a tablet as well, so I don't have to take my labtop everywhere to do my work. And I rarely go to the charity forums myself. I honestly don't post much cause I find most people don't reply to me so I am like, screw this, why bother. I come on for the games than leave usually. ~In Loving Memory:~ To my sister and best friend since Kindergarten - Jenni To a beautiful soul - Jessica My Father, Daniel. Yes old fashioned was the word I was looking for. And some guys are stay at home dads too. You don't HAVE to be a house wife. You can do both as Chole says. Or you don't have to marry at all. The choice is yours, she may be your mother but she doesn't have any say as to what choices you make. Although she will often voice them you don't have to do what she says as an adult.
As for charity that's the same problem with some of these places, it takes a long while for responses and it makes me sad. However when you have active chatter like we do here the other places don't really matter. ![]() It's me. | ||||

I know, and the worst part of it all is that her own daughter is the bread winner in the family and her and her husband did the work equally, which is how I want to do things. Even my boyfriend says that he does cleaning and stuff at his parents' place just like I do so he's not going to be the type that makes me do it all. Heck, I think he knows how to cook more things than I do. .-. I mean he's made curry before! :O
It just seems that when it comes to stuff involving me or my brother my mom treats us poorly and then sticks her daughter and granddaughter on a pedestool. I mean she doesn't even notice when I do get cleaning done, she's actually come home and b**ched about the place needing to be cleaned. When I point out its been cleaned already she's like 'oh, well I didn't even look because I wasn't concerned about that.' Like really? Not to mention she complains about how we're talking at ten in the morning and waking her up when she's been sleeping for almost twelve hours already and is just too d*mn lazy to get out of bed and do anything. =.=; Yet when she's up at midnight yappying away really loudly on the phone to the point where its keeping me up she tells me tough sh*t its her house she can do as she likes. Yet my dad is the one who pays for the bills because she doesn't work, doesn't cook most of the time and I'm the one who does almost all the house work. The only thing she really does is clean some dishes her and my dad dirty and she still b**ches at me about being lazy. =.=;

Well we'll see how she fares once you move out. Honestly I'd just pay no mind to it and just bide your time until you're ready to leave. She can't say anything to you after that.

Feel free to rant, sometimes it's better to get it off than leaving it to fester.
My parents are sort of over protective, always have been. I pretty much have little to no freedom, if I want to purchase an item that costs a bit, I have to talk it over with them. It's pretty sad I had to talk my mom into letting me get my Demonique.. Once I get my own house, I am going doll crazy. ~In Loving Memory:~ To my sister and best friend since Kindergarten - Jenni To a beautiful soul - Jessica My Father, Daniel. That sounds a bit over bored to me. ^^; I can buy what I want, my mom can have a fit about it, but in the end my dad says its my money and I can buy things occasionally with it if I want to since I don't really buy things often anyways so it not a big deal. My mom has the mind set that if you owe someone money (my dad for helping me through college) then I cannot buy anything with my money except for things like food (which she actually still yells at me for even if the drink is less than a buck) and that I shouldn't be using it to buy games that maybe totaled one hundred dollars throughout the year. If I spend only one hundred dollars to spoil myself that's what other parents wish they kids only spent on themselves. :/ So yeah...
