"I know these facts are true, and I do know how to prove it." Alicia said as her eyes flashed red for a second, but Alexander wouldn't be able to notice it. She opened the book and read the prologue, "This book tells you everything you need to know about vampires. The vampire is a decendent of the bat. Human's be warned that this book will cause your death one way or another. For vampires walk during the day, you will perish human. You have been warned do not read further into this book." She said as she felt a chill. " Shit! " Alicia said looking around.

Alexander raised a brow, highly skeptical at this point, "And that makes it more true than the others? I'm a fan of the occult, but I highly doubt any of it is actually real." He was greatly interested in the book though, he wanted to horde its pages and learn Romanian just for the purpose of reading the book, but he knew that would never be possible. Alicia would never let him touch the thing. He noticed goosebumps forming on her skin and noticed he felt a little chill as well, "Must be because we're underground, eh?"

"Alicia Renee Winters..." Came the infamous voice of Ya'lize, "This is your final warning, girl. Put the book away."

Alicia's eyes got wide as she heard Ya'lize's voice in her head. She quickly closed the book and wrapped it up and put it in the box and put it back in the bookcase. This all happened within seconds. She looked at Alexander, "Do not mention that you saw that book, do you understand?" Alicia asked with a slight anger in her voice.

Holden felt a chill and looked at Seth, "Did you feel that?" He asked looking down at the floor. "What did you do Alicia?" He asked slightly worried.

Alexander blinked as she suddenly stood, "Uh..okay?" Now he definitely wanted that damn book. Something about it spooked Alicia, as well as fascinated her. He had to know...but..he would never figure it out. He stood up, putting a hand on her shoulder, "You look shaken up yet, what's wrong?"

"Nothing Alexander. Trust me." Alicia said trying to put on a smile but couldn't.

"Be right back." Holden said as he teleported to Alicia's bedroom. "Alicia Renee what did you do?" He asked as his eyes turned red and narrowed to slits.

Alicia jumped when she heard Holden, "Nothing I just read something from my fathers book." She said looking down.

Holden scanned her mind, "Are you fucking serious? Master Ya'lize just contacted you? You know that book is not supposed to be uttered. You just put my whole family in danger." He said not noticing that Alexander was there. He ran his hands through his hair, "Great the council already wants me dead, because I am a Strigoi, and you just fucked me over even more." Holden said as he felt his bones start to shift.

Alexander jumped, nearly climbing off the back end of the couch, but rather ended up on the floor, "W-what the hell!?" He scrambled to his feet, moving away from them both as the air became rather tense. He opened his mouth to speak, but quickly shut up as he heard the tell-tale snap of bones. He had to leave, this was getting way crazy, his body was telling him..but..he wanted to know. Damn the curious scientist in him. Suddenly he began to feel weak at the knees before collapsing as consciousness left him.

Serus appeared, her eyes narrowed sharply and her arms crossed over her chest, "Holden Micheal Evans!" She grabbed his shoulder firmly, turning him to face her, "Just what the hell do you think you're doing? I know you know that Alexander is down here." She pointed her slim finger to the now unconscious boy. She then looked to Alicia, "And you! How dare you reveal that your father took my book. Dă. Aceasta. Înapoi.(Give. It. Back.)" He held out her hand, her eyes glowing bright red. "Seth! Can you believe her! She knows that book is property of the American Council yet she chose to keep it after her forsaken father took it from Xander! You cannot believe my fury right now! She has no right to even look at the book!"

"She just put my family in danger." Holden said turning back to Alicia. "I want you out of my house NOW!" He said pointing to the stairs.

Alicia stood there almost crying, she didn't know what to say.

Seth appeared in the basement with a sigh. "EVERYONE STOP YELLING!! This is what Ya'lize wants, he wants to break up this revolution so to speak. And driving a wedge between us will cause that." He said with glowing red eyes. "And Serus, that book is the property of the World Council, not you. Holden! You know better then this. Appearing in front of a human is really bad, and then you said you were a Strigoi. Further reveling yourself to him." He paused and looked at Alicia. "Alicia, how dare you utter the words in that book? Do you know what you just did? You just alerted every single council leader to that books location." Seth said pointing to the bookcase. He pinched his nose quite frustrated.

Serus narrowed her eyes at Seth, "No, Seth. It belongs to the American Council leader, and last I checked, that was me." She stepped over to Alicia, grabbing her shirt and pulling her close, "Give me that book Alicia. Right. Now." She moved the girl over to the bookcase then let her go, "Trust me, you do not want me digging for the code. I won't make it pleasant." She hoped that her unnecessary roughness with the girl would be enough to deter Ya'lize from acting any further. She gave Alicia a slight shove, "Move it girl! I'm sick of waiting!"

"Serus, what ever I am done with this shit. These two little fuckers, and you. Itt az ideje, az első fázis. (It's time, for phase one.)" Seth said in Hungarian as he disappeared.

Alicia pushed the button and grabbed the metal box and entered the code. She opened it to Serus.

Serus pinched the bridge of her nose, "Seth..I need you here to watch these two while I speak with the Council. I will keep you updated, but you're the only one I trust to supervise these two. Oh! And could you take care of Alexander's memories?" She gingerly took the book, giving Alicia a slightly apologetic look, "You should not have kept this."

When Solomon had teleported to Holden, he thought that they were all just down in Alicia's room for the home theatre, having been too occupied with Hayden to notice what was going on. He soon realized that this was a bad time to come back. He tilted his head, noticing the book, "Alicia? Why did...oh my..so that's what this fury is all about? So it still remains..." He sighed, placing a hand on Serus's shoulder to calm her, "Just take it back and forget about this. She's young, her father probably never told her where he got it."

Serus sighed, "Fine. Be sure to take care of Alexander's memories." She looked back to Alicia, placing her free hand on the girl's shoulder, "Don't take it personally..alright? I am still on your side." She smiled then disappeared.

Solomon then turned to Alicia, "And now another difficult decision for you...you have to decide on what I do with Alexander. I either kill him or change his memories...but you may also decide that you want to turn him. I'll give you a few minutes to ponder it over; but be wary, turning him is not his best option."

"I will Serus, don't worry." Seth said giving her brain a slight squeeze. He appeared in Alicia's room. He sighed looking at Solomon.

Alicia jumped when Serus put her hand on her shoulder. She looked to Solomon with light blue eyes, "Wipe his memory, it isn't the right time to turn him." She said still holding back on crying. "I'm sorry Holden." She said as she fell to the ground and finally broke down.

Holden really wanted to be mad but he always felt bad when Alicia cried. He looked away, "I still want you out of my house." He said as he started up the stairs.

Solomon glanced to Holden, "Then you're just asking for her to die Holden. As soon as she leaves Ya'lize will send his hounds after her. She probably would not survive long enough for 'supper'." He knelt down next to Alexander, placing his finger on his forehead while he manipulated the boy's memories, "But, if you really want her out, I will take her to my house. She will at least be safe there and Amanda will be out of danger.." I hope When he was finished, he stood, looking to Alicia, "You can pick any room you want. Even if I'm not there, Ya'lize would never dare to trespass on my property." He picked Alexander up placing him on the couch nearby.

Alexander awoke with a massive headache. He let out a slight groan as he placed his hand on his head, "Man...must've been more tired than I thought..." He had a habit of not sleeping; due to insomnia, but he was used to it by now. He looked around, noticing Holden and Alicia were both upset, but he didn't dare ask; she would just tell him nothing anyway. As he noticed Solomon looming over him, he jumped a bit, "A-ah..hello Solomon..."

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty." He stood up straight with a slight laugh as Alexander became beat red, "Aw, don't be ashamed. Either way, it was only a few minutes since you fell asleep. I figured I wake you and see if you'd like to go home now. Holden has to go get Amanda from school and Alicia's got some..chores to attend to." He shot them both a look, telling them to get a move on.

Holden stopped going up the stairs. He headed back down and picked up Alicia, "We need to talk." He said pulling Alicia up the stairs. He pulled her down the hall and to the living room. "Jason stay here I'm going to go and get Amanda." He said still pulling Alicia. He got out the door and semi threw Alicia into the passenger seat of the BMW. He got in and sped out of the driveway.

Seth stepped forward, "I'm taxed with helping you watch over everyone." He said still slightly annoyed.

Solomon helped Alexander up, glaring at Seth, "Just go away then. I don't need your help." Now his testiness was showing. He was just rather annoyed with everything right now. He smiled back to Alexander, leading him up the stairs and to Holden's Mustang after snatching the keys.

Alexander got in the car, "D-did I cause trouble?" He buckled his seat belt, watching Solomon walk around the front of the car and then climb in. "I'm sorry for falling asleep, if that what this is about.."

Solomon smiled, pulling out of the driveway and heading towards Alexander's house, "No, no, it's not you. Things are just a bit tense between the two...it's been that way since they moved here...if anything it's my fault really. Just try not to worry about it alright? Everything will be fine. I'll have her call you once things settle. Kay?"

Alexander nodded, "Alright..." He kept his eyes on the window, watching as people and cars were passed.

"Alicia, what the hell was that about? Reading that book..." Holden said trailing off. "Do you really want to live with me Alicia?" He asked looking to her quickly and then back to the road.

"I'm sorry Holden, I just wanted to show Alexander. And yes I do Holden, I love you like a brother. I don't know what is wrong with us lately." Alicia said with a frown.

"I don't know what it is either. I don't like hating you." He said rubbing his temple. "I think I know what we have to do." He said pulling over to the side of the road. He turned to Alicia and gently leaned his forehead on hers. "Now open your mind." Holden said as he did the same thing.

Alicia complied and opened her mind. She closed her eyes and felt Holden going through her brain, she as well went into Holden's mind.

Holden felt everything Alicia felt, and as well as seeing her memories. He opened his eyes, "Is that better?" He asked as he felt his anger towards Alicia melt away.

Alicia opened her eyes when Holden spoke, "Ya, what did you do?" She asked looking into Holden's eyes.

"Mind melding, I read it in one of your dads books." Holden said as he moved his head and turned back into traffic.

Seth crossed his arms when Solomon left, "All be it I do like this not being needed thing but... Wait Jason." He said teleporting to the couch. "Looks like you were technically left alone." Seth said crossing his legs.

Jason looked at Seth, "Ya, but I like this quiet time." He said with a smile.

Solomon soon pulled up to Alexander's apartment, "Here we are~ Just try to get some decent sleep alright? Alicia needs a real live-wire like herself." He waved as Alexander got out of the car then quickly sped back to Holden's. It wasn't long until he got there and was walking into the living room, "Well, that certainly was interesting. How id Joesph even manage to get that book away from Xander in the first place? I believe I was living in Russia at the time."

Serus soon appeared, throwing Seth a few katana's while she worked on adjusting her own mass of weapons, "Well..looks like we're on. You, me, Solomon and Jaelynn will be doing the dirty work. Alicia will keep Holden away and safe, I hope. Oh! Solomon..is Hayden fit to help us?"

Suddenly a tall, slim black haired woman appeared. On her waist was a sheathed katana while a half sword was currently being held in her hand. Her icy blue eyes watched Serus as a slight smile came upon her face, "I believe I am Serus. Although, afterwards, I think I might switch back...I feel..awkward right now, not to mention, Amanda.." She face palmed herself with her free hand, "And I've got math homework due tomorrow..ugghh.."

Solomon was about to speak when Hayden appeared, "Yeah..I managed to at least stabilize her. It's a good thing she's not provoked by vampire blood to begin with, cause this is going to get bloody. You sure you're up to this Hayden? Who knows how long your mentality will last. It was hard enough keeping you in one mindset before I contacted Serus."

Hayden nodded, "I'm positive...but if you'd rather me stay behind, I will. I understand...plus then I can make sure Holden stays safe."

Solomon shook his head, "We need everyone we can get in this fight Hayden..." He gave her a hug, undoing the Katana from her waist, holding the sheath in his left hand, "And thank you for delivering this~"
