I see you, Kiki!!

I've never seen a possum IRL.
But I've seen raccoons while camping a few times.

They're sneaky little things!

I don't know why...
But when I think of possums, I immediately imagine that they are completely riddled with diseases such as rabies oAo

I would guess that it's because they have big mouths and sharp teeth

When I see an opossum, I think they're a cross between a mouse and a badger. :[ But Australian.
Being they're marsupials...though they aren't from Australia.

I haven't seen a possum IRL before :o

They're a mix of cute and creepy, from what I have seen.
They always look like they're screaming when you see them in picture too :O

:] I like cute n' creepy things. Like Fizgig. xD
Though opossums are wild animals, so it's best to give them their space if you do ever come across one. Much like a racoon or a skunk, they usually don't bother you if you don't bother them.
Creepiest case, I heard of an opossum making scary screeches in a garbage bin and foaming at the mouth with rabies. 8[
Cutest case, I heard they really really like to munch on avocados. :]

Greyhound and opossums don't mix. Source: used to have greyhounds. Same with rabbits.

It's somewhat unlikely that you saw an opossum with rabies. They're incredibly resistant to it.

Actually they're kind of amazing little critters and I love them. I wanted one as a pet when I was very young and would howl in anguish when I saw them dead on the side of the road.

But yeah, they're kind of superpowered little critters. The're all but immune to rabies and snake venom, rate higher on intelligence tests than both dogs and cats, and they help clean up decaying animal corpses. They do tend to foam at the mouth, vomit, drool, defecate or faint as defense mechanisms though... they are a bit weird.
Answer my riddle to earn a prize!

You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it?

Pm me the answer, no cheating please!

So basically... possums are like honey badgers?

When I was a kid, I found a dead skunk floating in a river.
I poked at it with a stick and flipped it over and WOOOOOO it stunk something awful!!

I've never smelled something so bad!

I went home and bathed like three times. In the end, I think I had to put tomato sauce on my body to get rid of the smell.

Looks cute, but to be honest I'd probably still get a cat instead.

Rabbits are where it's at. Cat's are great an all, but rabbits are way less bite-ie. Their poo box is also easier to clean.

And bunny rabbits do that thing,
where they make those honks when they're excited or happy,
<x} and they flop over when they feel safe.
