at first, it looks like this tunnel is going to end up just like the last. it's a while before you see anything other than dirt and more dirt and cookie crumbs. suddenly, you spot what looks like a tiny hole in the tunnel wall. and another. and another! a whole bunch of them!

do you check out the spooky creepy cluster of holes, or continue on to the next crossroads?

Those crumbs have to lead to more cookies! Let's look at the holes.

Biomecha:

deciding that it definitely probably won't be a mistake, you go take a closer look at the holes. hhmmm... yup. those are some holes, alright.

but, eh? it looks like a worm is crawling out of one! and wriggling at you! then another, and another, and another... at least 7 fat, wriggly worms! and not the gummy kind, either.

then, the dirt around them starts to crumble away. you see... teeth. a lot of teeth. those weren't worms! that was a giant worm with tiny wormy fingers! WORMS DON'T EVEN HAVE FINGERS!!!

do you run like hell to get away, try to make nice with the worm-beast somehow, or grab a weapon to fight!?

I'm starting to feel a bit lost, but I'll continue straight forward.

Hmm, I'll try running away. Hopefully I'm not dreaming and it won't feel like running through quicksand.

Biomecha:

you make a run for it, and the worm-beast takes chase! unfortunately for it and its wormy fingers, the tunnel is a little cramped for something of its size. and unfortunately for you, that means the tunnel is crumbling down around you! YIKES!

you dive out of the way of a particularly dirty clump of falling dirt. a horrid SCREEEECH shakes the tunnel, then is swiftly muffled by debris. you made it, but it looks like there's no going back. a light shines down from a hole above; the cave-in didn't destroy this opening to the surface. the tunnel continues on in only one direction, and unlike the way you'd just come, there's no sign of any cookie bits on the ground.

do you head up to the surface, carry on through the tunnel, or turn back and try to dig out the worm-beast?

derpy and mdom:

it doesn't sound like anyone's getting all that spooked, and the galla is getting restless. there's a strange rumble and crash somewhere in the tunnels, but it's too distant to tell what it was.

while i'm busy digging out a new path, do you ditch the tunnels before anything bad happens, try to find the source of the noise, or help galla dig... wherever they're trying to dig to?
