I once went to jury duty summons but they did not choose me for which I was quite happy. And I got summoned one other time but it was deferred, there were no cases so I didn't have to go. I would not want to get tired up in a long famous one, that's for sure. What about you? Would you want to be on the jury of a months-long case? I suppose some might since they would get to see something in the limelight. But all too often they are horrendous crimes of violence and I don't like that very much.

I hate the very idea that everyone over 18 HAS TO GO or you'll be fined up to 100 thousand dollars or go to jail for 5 days...it's so STUPID...I don't want to do it. I have no interest in it at all :/

I wonder why the forefathers wanted it that way as a requirement of citizenship. Just seems to me that if one does not want to do it one should not have to. Maybe if I knew the underlying reasoning I could accept it better. But it is quite an imposition if one has bills to pay.

Man there is nothing going on today. I have tried to drop by here and I even was able to do a couple things to my avatar but I was working all day and could not stay. Even so, nothing much has changed.

I hope today has been good for you Amakai. I'm going to watch some Mystery Science Theater, ever seen that? We're going to watch The Magic Sword which should be hysterical. If it's not then I'll be back. Or maybe later.

Wow Kilala, your avatar is lovely! You are really using your items in creative ways. I hope things work out for you and your uncle. I was busy yesterday, I went and bought a bed. We needed a new one but man are they expensive! I mean the mattress and box springs. Holy moly, anyhow I got a very nice one and it will be delivered on Tuesday. Otherwise I think I am going to do some projects today, like clean one of the rooms and do some laundry. And maybe take some pictures of my dolls. What are you up to?

Amakai, I have heard the terms but not sure which is which, but apparently you are referring to RPs in which you are required to have a certain sexual orientation? Are these set somewhere in particular? Like are they set on earth in modern times?
