Harsh. I can understand that. My family and I hit the same problem with some meds that I had to take post surgery. They were new and therefore not covered by medical and were several hundred dollars a month. I had to get money from the province. The annoying this is, if I had my operation two weeks earlier, I wouldn't have had to take them at all. Two weeks later, and they would have been covered.

Aww your poor mommy DK. Withdrawal is really
hard to deal with. Before my meds I could
handle the stress and only would snap after
things building up for a long time, but now
with being on meds, I can't handle any type
of stress at all when I'm not on them. Which
is sad, because if the state doesn't approve
us now for help, they will have to deal with
a frantic call from my husband a week later
yelling at them saying he needs help now because
his wife is losing her mind and is trying to
kill herself repeately and trying to kill
him too. The hugest blow out I had before meds
was me trying to choke Joe 2 times in a day
because I just couldn't handle dealing with
my OCD anymore. I was cleaning myself and
things too much in a row and I just couldn't
stop doing it. ; ; Why can't mental problems
be easier to deal with?

Lucid doesn't like taking medicine. D; I don't need to take regular meds, thank goodness, but I even hate taking little things like Advil when I have cramps/headaches or Tylenol when I feel sick. D:

to it taking 4 different ones a day, not
counting my allergy pill. >.>;

I don't blame you DK. I fear being on my
own now since now I can cope with my OCD
and anxiety disorders. Only on meds, I
can't otherwise and with Joe being still
depressed, this is going to be really hard
to deal with since I have to stay calm to
not upset him at all >.>; Or else we will
have 2 mentally insane people trying to
take care of a mentally problemed child.
Not a good combo at all.

I'd rather not take pills simply because, they way I see it, I take enough of them anyway.

The situation with the meds I had was fairly simple. It was very recently decided that the new meds would be used and it was not yet approved for coverage, I figure. It didn't last all that long though. I a lot of people that had that issue and started throwing fits about about it so it was approved rather quickly I imagine, especially since it wasn't optional.

I hate meds as well...I think I might be taking a test for ADD sometimes during the summer. If it's positive, then I'll have an excuse for my poor grades, but I'll also have to takes meds. I'm not too sure what I hope it is now...

I take a mild antidepressant. It took some getting used to. It was about two months before I started to get accustomed to the mindset I had. I don't mind them now, and I can say I'm definately better off than I was for the most part. I do go to support groups and such since there are other issues that probably don't need meds and I'd rather not take more than I have too. I just get sick of it.

Waiting for a response still. I hope to
get it. Especially now with Joe not working.

I'm just hoping for the best. I do think we
will be ok. Tomorrow we will be taking care
of a few of the things at least. And I have
a good week of being off my meds before I
lose it.
