So mentioning that...one time my sister was trying to pop her neck and she was all "push on my head" while it was tilted sideways, so I did, and it popped so loudlu that for a split second I was afraid that I had broken her neck.

Not super hard! Just a little light push! I can't decide if she was trying to prank me or if she was just too lazy to pop her own neck. Either one was equally likely...

I can usually feel when my neck is ready to/needs popped. When I can feel it, it usually pops pretty easy.
