Holden adjusted on the bed so he was laying across from Hayden. "Your not in the way Hayden. Did Solomon ever tell you that I had a daughter? I mean she wasn't my blood daughter. I adopted her just like I plan to do with Jason." He said with a sigh. "Anyway Amanda was three and Abby was six. Abby was so cute, but so was Amanda. Every time I did something with Abby, Amanda was always there. I used to get so mad at her, but it mainly was because I didn't know how long Abby had left. She had the same disease as her mother, but it took her mom's 22 years to progress. Where as it only took 6 for Abby." He said starting to cry again.

"Sorry, umm I hated Amanda and she was only 3. I was such a fool, she never deserved my hatred. The day I buried Abby, is the day I vowed to do everything to make Amanda happy. What I am trying to say is that it is never the younger siblings fault, its always the older siblings damn fault." Holden said as he rolled to his back and put his arm over his eyes.

Hayden looked away from him, her hair covering her face, "That's not true Holden. This is my fault. Solomon's too busy trying to make sure I don't do anything bad..he doesn't have any time to help you because of it." She sighed, depressed, but not really in the mood to cry. "I'll just stay away, so Solo can help you and spend his time with you and not worry about me. I'll just..sleep in a closet or somewhere dark..I'm used to it."

"Hayden no, it isn't your fault. I have hundreds of years to learn, and I'm smart so I pick up stuff quickly." Holden said trying to make her feel better. "Solomon loves you, if you would go away he would search for you. You will do no such thing, I know you are older then me but I would not and could not let you do that." Holden said turning back to Hayden.

She looked at him with a slight smile, "Y-you think so? Sometimes..I don't think he would." She uncurled a bit, scooting close to Holden. "S-Solo says you can shape-shift r-right? M-maybe he'll let me t-teach you..."

"I don't just think so, I know so." Holden said with a smile. "Ya I can but the last time I did, I almost ripped out Alicia's throat." He said as the whole scene played out in his head. "Maybe he will.." Holden said as he trailed off.

Hayden hugged Holden, "D-don't be upset with that...i-it's always like that the first time. S-sometimes..it's..worse.." She closed her eyes tightly, "S-sometimes..it's..really bloody.." She shuddered a bit. "B-but you're a g-good person! S-so you didn't hurt her..cause you knew better.." She smiled a bit.

Holden hugged Hayden back, "Ya, well one reason is that she slapped my nose." He said grabbing his nose. "Alicia said she can shape shift her form. Like you can, but then again I don't know what powers you have." Holden said with a sigh.

Hayden shrugged a bit, "I don't really remember, actually...I..I haven't used them in a l-long time..so..I ki-kinda forgot." She sat up and stretched out her arms, "M-maybe Solomon will let me practice again." She stood up on the bed, looking over to Holden, "He should almost done with the horses now. Oooohh," she pouted, "He never let me see them...meanie-head."

"Maybe we can practice together." Holden said as he sat up. "When I go and see Kali tomorrow, maybe you can some with. Hopefully she isn't mad at me, cause she will tell me." He said with a chuckle. "Did Solomon tell you I can speak to animals? I know it sound weird." Holden said rubbing his hand through his hair.

Hayden shook her head, "It's not weird, all shape-shifters can do it. I can too~" She jumped down, grabbing Holden's arm and tugging him up, "Let's go now. I wanna see them now."

[Bovice]

"I see, I didn't know that." Holden said with a smile. "Ok, ok, let's see if Amanda and Jason want to go. It is only fair." He said as he stood up.

Hayden shook her head, "Nooooo...I don't want Jason to come." She frowned a bit, quickly flinching at Solomon slapped her telepathically, "Fiiinee, he can come.." She frowned deeper. She didn't like Jason. He was..strange and wimpy.

Holden smiled, as he picked up Hayden. "You will come to like him, trust me. He had a hard life in that orphanage." He said went out the door. He walked down the stairs, "Jason do you wanna come with us and see Solomon's horses?" He asked when he got down the stairs.

"Sure daddy." Jason said as he jumped up from the couch.

"Damn Solomon took my BMW, we are gonna have to take the Mustang." Holden said as he went to the Study to get Amanda. Amanda? Do you wanna come with us to go see the horses?" He asked as he got to the study.

"Sure." Amanda said as she ran up to Holden.

Holden smiled and picked up Amanda. "Let's go chicka's." Holden said with a smile.

Hayden frowned, "Not near as bad as mine..you don't see me griping at everything." She wrapped her arms around Holden to keep herself from falling back. "How many horses does Solomon have?" She looked down to Jason with a slight glare, but quickly looked away.

"True hun, but he is technically human." Holden said with a frown. He has four right now, Damien, Kali, Zera, and Rilov." He said as he went back into the living room. He headed out to the garage, with Jason in tow. He put the girls down, when he got to the garage. "I want you all to buckle your seat belts." He said as he grabbed the spare key out of the key box. He got into the car and waited until everyone was in the car.

Amanda got into the backseat and buckled her seat belt.

Jason waited until Hayden got in and he got in the front passenger seat. He quickly buckled his seat belt.

Hayden pouted as Jason made her get in the back, "That's not fair. I'm way older than him..I should get to sit in front. After all, we're going to my brother's house." She crossed her arms, not buckling her seat belt.
