Adelais was silent a moment. Genevieve put him up to it. He just knew it. "Well good morning Aaron..." He really didn't have anything to do tonight, other than sulk like always...but..he wasn't sure if he wanted to 'go out' with Aaron again. With a shrug, not that the boy could see, he decided to agree, "I have no plans..."

[Bovice]

Aaron smiled a bit not that Adelais could see, he was in a way happy that Adelais was free tonight. "Ok... Do you possibly wanna come to my place? I'll make dinner." He shrugged.

"I don't see why not..what time shall I plan to be there?" He had to admit he was a bit excited to be 'on a second date' with Aaron. While the man was fairly boring in most aspects of life, he had a very interesting job and he was rather handsome.

[Bovice]

"About six?" Aaron was slightly giddy with excitement, but he didn't let it show in his voice. He sat up and quickly went to grab a few cook books he kept hidden. "Are you allergic to anything?" He smiled as he looked over the bindings.

"No I'm not..I do have to get going right now though..Gene is calling me..go figure. I'll see you tonight~" He ended the call and picked up the other call that was waiting. "What Gene?" "I know what you did last night~" Without a word, he flipped the phone shut, not wanting to talk to her right now. Especially about last night.

"Ok... Bye..." Aaron trailed off as the line went dead. He made sure the call was ended before he tossed the phone on the couch as he walked over to it. He sat down with a smile as he flipped open one of the cookbooks.

Adelais had not accomplished much during the day. He mostly went back and forth between the few vampire hang outs in town. He normally would not be caught dead in those buildings, but there were a few people he needed to speak to. He wanted to know more about Aaron's..organization..that he worked for. And who better to find that out than his favorite Mercenary? She was a hard woman to track, but he eventually found her at her favorite club, NeuroGenesix.

With a sigh, he entered through the main doors, a very interesting mix of music and lights overcame him. He searched around until he found the white haired woman in one of the many dark corners. He approached her, his blue eyes turning red to match hers, "We need to talk..business matters.." He sat down, shooing her human guests away. "Got a few minutes?"

The white haired woman raised an eye brow as Adelais helped himself to a seat, "I don't think I have a choice, actually. What can I do for you my dear?" She leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table and lacing her fingers. Her bright red eyes watching him curiously, the hood of her cloak gently pulling itself onto her head, keeping back enough so her face wouldn't be covered..yet.

Adelais lifted his index and middle fingers, as if he was holding a card between them, and seconds later, a photograph appeared in the once empty space. He laid the picture down on the table; it was of Aaron. "This man..works for a group of mercenaries, I am unsure if it is in the same business as yourself, but I know you can get me the information I desire. I want to know who he works for and what they..specialize in. Think you can do that for me, darling?"

The woman took the picture off the table, examining it, "This man? He's so scrawny looking..." She folded the photograph and put it in the pocket of her cloak. "I do not recognize him..with him being human and me being in the..special division, we would not see each other. I will see what I can dig out.." She narrowed her blood red eyes at Adelais for a moment, "Now go away...I have..other things to attend to."

Aaron was pulled out of his thoughts as a knock came at his door. "Early are you?" He smiled a bit as he laid the books down on the coffee table and went to the door. Before he opened it he straightened out his clothes, he smiled as he opened the door but quickly frowned. "Wh-..what are you doing here sir?" He stepped back a bit.

The tall brown haired man smirked and pushed his way into the apartment, "Tell me Aaron, how did you make his death look like a heart attack?" The man looked around the small apartment. He ran his index finger over a shelf and rubbed it with his thumb. "And why do you live in horrid conditions, when I pay you rather well?" The man turned around and looked at Aaron. His hazel eyes narrowed at the boy.

"Well sir, there is a way to use electricity to overload the heart. I used that to kill him." Aaron closed the door. "I choose to live in 'horrid conditions' because I don't want people asking where I get my money." He watched the man carefully. "And if I may ask, why are you the one who came to ask me this?" He crossed his arms.

"Well my dear boy, I just wished to see if you are alright. And don't worry, I had my associate taken care of." The man grinned evilly. "Now there is another matter I wish to discuss with you." He stepped forward until he was right in front of Aaron. He grabbed onto the arm that was shot. He dug his finger hard into the wound, "What do you know of the boy you were with last night?" His eyes seemed to turn red.

Adelais nodded, "But of course my dear. I will pay you based on the information you give me, so you better do a wonderful job, as always," He stood, dusting himself off and smoothing his clothes, "If you fail me...well..you'll just have to wait and see what happens with that." Before the woman could answer, he vanished.

The white haired woman looked around for a moment with a sigh, "Then I better get started..." She had not liked the tone his voice took when he suggested her pay. With another sigh, she pulled the hood of her cloak down over her face and disappeared herself. She brought herself to Aaron's apartment, pressing herself against the wall and cloaking her presence telepathically as she sensed another presence in the room..a dangerous one. Her left hand strayed for her knife, gripping the handle firmly but leaving it in the sheath as she listened. Now what could that man possibly want with Adelais? And by the way the human is addressing him, I would assume that this is his boss. Perfect~ One step down.

[Bovice]

"I don't know much sir, he's just a friend." It pained Aaron's heart to say that, he wanted to be more then friends with Adelais but knew that wasn't possible. He tried to wiggle his arm free but the mans grip was to strong, almost superhuman.

"Your lying Aaron, your face twinged when you said that." The man gripped Aaron's arm harder. "Now tell me the truth and I might let you go."

Aaron was taken aback slightly, "I don't know sir, I really don't." For the first time in his life Aaron was scared.

The man smirked, "You really don't do you?" He chuckled evilly. "It's a shame really, you had so much potential." He shook his head as he put his free hand behind his back. When he brought it back in sight he had a knife. "Now I would say that this wont hurt a bit, but I would be lying. Just... like...you..." He trailed off as he jammed the knife into Aaron's ribcage. He let go and let Aaron fall to the ground, "If you survive, you are fired. And a hit will be taken out on you." The man brushed his hands together and walked to the door. He opened it and walked out, "Hello..." He looked to where the woman was standing. Before the woman could say anything he vanished.

Aaron gasped as the knife was driven into his body, he fell to his knees as the man let him go.

The woman raised a brow at the man, "Strange...anyway.." She rushed inside the apartment, going over to Aaron, who was on the floor. She knelt down beside him, "Well for a demon he has horrible aim...There's no reason he should've missed your heart.." She clicked her tongue in disappointment, pulling the knife out of Aaron's chest, and rather roughly at that, "Now, I would let you die, since you're going to end up getting killed anyway, but seeing at Ade is paying me quite well, I'll let him have his night." She placed her hand over the wound, healing Aaron's chest leaving no indication he was stabbed.

She stood, keeping her hood down on her face, "Before I go and toy around in your mind..I need to know everything you know about that man..and if you refuse to tell me, my good favor will disappear.." She pulled out a knife, spinning it expertly in her fingers. "Speak."

Aaron kept his eyes on the floor as the woman spoke, he didn't know how to react about her saying that his boss... Well former boss was a demon. "I..I don't know much about him. All I know is that he has been behind a lot of high ups in companies deaths. Most of them I was the one to kill them." He glanced at the woman but quickly looked back at the floor. "And he goes to other states, not just Arizona." He grabbed his arm.

"Hmm.." She frowned a bit, throwing her knife in the air and catching it by the hilt a few times. "Got a name or anything I can go off of? What do people call him? He's got to have some sort of..alias.." She knelt back down lifting Aaron's head up and examining him, "Come on, you have to give me more to work with.."

[Bovice]

"Norewood, is his last name. Sometimes he goes by... Um what is it?" Aaron closed his eyes to think for a moment. "Rubrum. Red in Latin." He opened his eyes and stared at the woman. "That is honestly all I know. He didn't tell me much about himself. But why would he? He is a master manipulator." He sighed a bit.

The woman winked, letting him go, "As am I my darling~" She stood, sheathing her knife and placing her hands on her hips, "Rubrum you say...the man never changes~" She chuckled a bit, then put her index finger to his forehead, "Unfortunately for you, I can't allow you to remember this. Have a nice nap." She knocked him unconscious then quickly manipulated his memories to him falling asleep while he read his cook books. She hauled him over to the couch, setting him up to make the memory more legit, then disappeared herself.

Aaron opened his eyes and looked around, he was mildly confused. Why would he fall asleep while he read. He noticed his door was open, he quickly stood up and closed the door quietly. He maneuvered over to his black duffel bag and grabbed out a knife. He checked the kitchen and then all over his apartment. He sighed in relief when he saw that no one was there and that nothing was missing. He couldn't shake off a feeling that he should call off his and Adelais' 'date'. With a sigh he tossed his knife onto his duffel bag and went to his phone. He quickly typed out a text to Adelais "I'm sorry, but I suddenly feel ill. So maybe in a few nights we can meet up? Again I'm sorry." He sent it and rubbed his temples.
