Calvin sighed as he continued to dig through his dresser, a small 'aha' escaped his throat as he pulled out a tighter pair of khaki pants. He slipped them on and went to his closet to find a shirt. After a few minutes he pulled out a red flannel shirt, he slipped it on and buttoned it up. As he rolled up his sleeves he went to his dresser to grab out a belt. After a few moments he pulled out a belt and threaded it through the belt loops on his pants.

Calvin then grabbed his shoes and headed downstairs. He jumped over the back of the couch, grabbing his phone, turning off the TV, and then putting on his shoes. He ran his hand through his copper hair as he stood. He basically ran out the the garage, getting in his car and speeding out of the driveway to Brianna's house.

After about ten minutes Calvin pulled into Brianna's driveway, he shut the car off and went to the door. Knocking three times and gently waiting with a sweet smile on his face.

It was like a wave of electricity had shivered it's way through her body when she heard the knocks on the door. Mentally berating herself for the out of character reaction, she stood and smoothed down her clothes. This was Calvin. They had seen each other a million times. There was no need to be nervous.

Going to the door she hesitated for a moment, her hand on the doorknob, but then quickly opened it and gazed up at the smiling boy behind it. An answering smile wormed it's way to her. "Hey." She said simply.

Calvin's heart seemed to skip a beat when he saw Brianna, "Hi." He glanced down at the floor. The sweet smile slowly started to fade. "Are you ok?" He bit his lip. "Do you wanna go and get some coffee?" He pointed to his car with his thumb.

Brianna let out a breath of relief when Calvin mentioned coffee. It was a glorious idea at the moment. "Sounds wonderful, just a sec." Turning back into the house, she found a pair of plain white flip-flops and slide them on. Returning to the door she stepped outside with Calvin and closed it behind her. She looked up at him biting her lip, her eyes scanning his face. "I'm okay, honestly. I was just... I dunno, surprised, I guess." She knew surprised wasn't a strong enough word, but she figured it was better to downplay things. It wasn't like her to not be completely honest, but she didn't want to make a big deal out of something Calvin might not find to be a big deal.
