I finally got back to it and finished the first playthrough today, which I great enjoyed, but I felt like the ending sequence sacrificed some immersion for emotional high-notes. Namely,

when 2B strangles 9S and is crying over him... is it explained anywhere that androids need to breath? How does that kill him? We saw in the opening that they're just made up of cables inside, it feels wrong to me. Like, I understand why they did it that way, and it was very emotional to watch, but from a realism perspective, unless there's something I'm missing, it doesn't make all that much sense.

Likewise, why does 2B even have the functionality to cry? She's an intelligently designed life form made for fighting and killing, why would her creators waste the effort to install synthetic tear ducts on her? That scene played like they were both human.

If there's a reason for either of those that comes up in the further playthroughs, don't tell me, though. I just started 9S's and killed Simone in the theme park... only for my game to crash, so now I'm too annoyed to keep playing it. >___<

I can understand if they were more like Milfina from Outlaw Star.. (they called her a Bio Android) then I can see all this happening, but as far as I've heard, they aren't..

I was planning to go after all the minor endings after I finished the main ones. Is that a bad idea?

And I'm not sure how I feel yet about playing as 9S. The lack of a second weapon is throwing me off. Hacking is fun, though I worry it might get tedious.

The lack of that second weapon threw me off too.. that and he isn't as strong physically, but that hacking skill.. damn x-x OP..

Is it just me, or was ending B almost identical to ending A? I assumed it was going to have some kind of huge twist. The revelation about humanity was interesting, I guess, but I'd been assuming that ever since I heard this game described as "cyberpunk Dark Souls". Hopefully the next ones will be more interesting. The preview certainly seemed exciting.
