His wife dies and Dervy is still a bit of an asshole.
.... Other than Alabaster Dervy sounds more like the culprit. ![]()

I can confirm that there is only one actual killer, although they could have assistance or no assistance, as well as other guests accidentally helping or hindering them. And while they do not have to answer honestly, liars are known to accidentally drop clues or sometimes say too much while trying to cover their tracks. You all are doing so well so far, I'm really loving how much investigating you're doing!

So the liars are lying liarfaces, but they might not be that good at being untruthful?
Hmm...... -goes back to read interrogations-

Well, this means that Tavish wasn't fully truthful in his statement about the rest being present since Bosney was not there the whole time. Which means there could be others that weren't there the whole time. But if what Alabaster says is true then that means Bosney did have a chance before dinner was served to poison the food. What we need to do is ask Lady Scrimshaw if Bosney was actually with her the entire time, though I suspect the answer would be no since she took him to her library whilst she went to her room. However he doesn't stand to gain anything from killing Gunther. He has actually been investigating Tavish this whole time, which means that someone could have also purposely done this during the time Bosney was not present for the entire time in order to set him up to look like the culprit. Hmmm...I wish I could ask more questions...Maybe I can pester DK to ask some for me! :D

Well crap, reading over the investigation just presents more motives and opportunities for all of the murders.
@_@ If the answer turns out to be really simple, I am going to be mad. SO mad.

I cannot wait to do the big reveal. Some of you guys have actually asked very important and specific questions that, if you closely examine the responses to, spell out what happened and gives clues as to who did it and why. In fact, I would say that this evening has turned out in a way that even the killer wasn't planning on. Everything is a whirlwind of murder and mayhem!

lol, That would be my fault, I like watching Bones, Criminal Minds, Medium and NCIS. XD Sadly I'm not good at putting pieces together, but VERY good at asking 'uncomfortable' questions. XD
Also, going to point out that Alabaster wouldn't benefit from killing the two victims. Firstly because his mistress would gain nothing from Gunther's death and it actually hinders her because of her opinion of peasants. He basically kept them in control and content enough to do their job and that's all she really cares about in that regard. Secondly, if the rumors going around about him wanting to gain all her fortune when she passes is true, he wouldn't need to check the seating arrangement diorama he had set up for serving the food, he could have just poisoned her drink since that wouldn't change even if her served her the wrong food. Not to mention that by looking at Gunther's title he would possibly be the one to over see where Scrimshaw's fortune goes upon death, being what seems to be the political head in the town. He'd rather have someone he knows really well and know ways to work around them then have a bafoon who has no clue what they are doing and possibly making it harder or take longer with what he's tying to get. A thought just occurred to me though while I was musing. owo

I still think Tavish is the one to have done it since he currently stands as the one to profit the most from it. Also the fact that almost everyone else seems to know his wife's only interest in him is his money, only a fool of a man wouldn't notice that about the woman he married. And by the way he conducts business he doesn't seem like a fool, if anything more like a cunning snake.

He wouldn't benefit, but there's still the possibility of him killing them without fully knowing what he was doing. It's been hinted at heavily by several people that his medical condition leaves him confused enough to do so. Even if it wasn't him directly, someone else could have been using that to their advantage.
