You just gotta kinda...take some things with a grain of salt I guess (although it can start to get preeetty salty) -- you gotta do what's best for you though. Hopefully she'll come around and understand it's not like you're picking sides or something, it's perfectly understandable to be her friend and a friend to this other person at the same time.
