I'm all Irish XD Northern as far as i know. Maybe some Southern in there but i'm pretty sure it's all North. Yourself?

Yes, but you in the UK have a sense of history on your side. You probably already know all about your ancestors. Over here for the most part our backgrounds are mysteries and it leads to curiousity and a desire to know our roots.

Again, though, whether you know who they are or not, you have a sense of WHO you are. You can be reasonably confident that your ancestors have been in England for centuries. Here in America, we have ancestors from all parts of the globe and we have no sense of history.

I actually have no connections to Scotland at all, from the little I've been told. All my family is English i think, so my generation is the first Scottish one ever. I feel more Scottish than English.
I also don't really feel the need to have a sense of history. It doesn't really have any affect on life. With my dad being an archaeologist, you'd expect me to care more XD | ||||
