It was rather late before he bothered to return to the tavern, he figured that his little traveling mate would probably be asleep with how tired she was by the time they got here. Though he was poorly mistaken as he walked into the tavern and she was sitting at one of the tables on the ground floor of the place.

He never said a word to her, maybe she wouldn't notice and he could avoid whatever questioning she was going to give him. Though maybe she'd keep her thoughts to herself. Though he doubted he'd get that lucky.. then again what did he care it wasn't something that concerned her.

Elvara looked up as she heard the doors to the tavern open. That is when she set eyes upon Zek and she glared. Banging her cup on the table she smirked as he looked towards her. Bringing her hand up to her face she drew him in with a curl of her finger. She was not sure if he would come to her or not but she was shocked when he did.

When he got near Elvara hissed at him "Where the hell have you been?" She asked. Though Elvara wasnt stupid she knew exactly what he was doing 'Though I shouldnt even ask..." She said smelling the air "You reek of it" With that she stood and brushed past him angerly. She was not sure why it bothered her so much but the smell combined with the late hour made her blood boil.

He wasn't going to go to her but instead he figured he'd humor her for the moment. Though when she hissed at him what he was doing or where he had been he smirked a bit. "Do I really need to tell you, tsk besides whats it matter?" Not like she should be caring about what he did or where he went.

Though after a moment she seemed to get mad enough at him as she stood and walked past him apparently going back towards the room. "tsk well if you knew why the hell ask!" He hissed at her before letting her get enough space between him and her as he started walking. Not like he had a choice he had to do certain things.. he wasn't about to die on her behalf just because it pissed her off.

After waiting till he heard the door slam he shook his head and followed towards the direction of the room. After opening the door and getting a new glare from her he simply rolled his eyes before walking towards the side room attached to the small room that was the main quarters. "if you must know not all of us have a luxury of choosing how we live our lives.. so maybe think about that before you growl at someone." He said before leaving her alone and going into the other room.

[Pinkie]

She growled before she stalked after him "Not all of us get to choose how we 'live our lives' as you so kindly put it!" She said before she shoved him a little causing him to stumble a little before he turned and shw as right there waiting for it. She growled at him again before huffing and turning. The male behind her confused and angered her all in one! And just by a simple thing!

Elvara knew she shouldnt be angry but she couldnt help it. For some reason thought of Zek with another...it angered her! And she just met the other male. She cursed as she punched the door frame on her way out of the small room the wood cracking and groaning in protest she really needed to calm down.

He ignored her comment as he left the room, he didn't have to deal with her. Hell why was he following her again? Right entertainment. Though he wasn't sure if it was worth this if she was going to get pissed over him living his life the way he had to.

Though after he was in the other room he went about to take a shower, and ignored anything she said further through the door. He just wanted a fast shower, personally he didn't really enjoy what he did, but it needed to be done.

After a while longer he came back out leaving his shirt off as he tossed next to the bed she wasn't laying on. "not to piss you off more but if I do don't what i did tonight once in a while i'll die, and im sure as hell not rolling over just because you don't like the thought of it" He growled at her before sitting on the bed with a slight hint of announce written in his body language.

She listened though she didnt care anymore. Laying down in bed with her back towards him she covered herself up with the blanket "Tsk...whatever" Was all she said before curling up until she was in a ball. Really she was not sure why it even mattered but for some reason it did.

"Just shut up and let me sleep" She said her voice muffeled by the blankets. In truth she wasnt tired but it was better then listening to him speak or her own thoughts for that matter. She just wanted to continue on as if nothing happened.

"whatever you want then" He complained before he moved to lay down his back towards her as well. He swore he wasn't going to be able to stand this woman for too many more days. But for now he'd put up with it till he figured out what she was up to.

He ignored any further comments if she made any, really he wasn't tired but if he stayed up he'd just be in a worse mood tomorrow. Though this hardly lasted long as after a few hours into the night he gave up on sleeping. Sitting up he just stayed there though he wasn't watching her, more of lost in his own thoughts.Most of them going over past events and reasons he still held onto a to why he refused to fight.

The morning light drifted into the room and Elvara groaned lightly in protest as it reached the lids of her eyes. Blinking slowly she awoke. Sitting up she stretched cracking joints and stretching muscles. Standing she went to the bathroom. A little while later she came out and looked at Zek who was just sitting there. "Come on" She said "Lets go" With that she turned the handle and left the room.

Elvara stood just outside the door and waited until Zek grumbled something and moved after her. Walking down she paid her dues to the bar keep leaving some gold coins for the stay before leaving. The day would be long but they would make it to the town she needed to go by night fall.

"So...Zekrak...." She began "Tell me about your kingdom?" She said in the form of a wuestion "I mean I know something but not alot" She said softly almost out of thought. Elvara was in a good mood today for some reason so talking was on her mind.

He didn't say too much to her as they left the tavern. Though there wasn't too much to really say. He really just wanted to keep to himself seeing as she didn't like what he had to do to stay alive he saw no purpose in trying to talk to her.

Though the silence of the walk was broken when she asked a odd question. He looked at her a bit oddly. "what question is that, it's probably like yours. Not a big deal really" He shrugged a little. Though she didn't seem convinced by his description.

"its run well enough to be run by a drow of common blood without a king.." he snapped out a little before he seemed to shut up again, it was probably a unknown fact that the only royal blood he had was from his fathers side, his mother was a common drow though one of the top metal smiths on the continent. Well she was when she worked on such things.

"Te main things we focus on is our crafts around the areas.. aside from that it's rather uneventful. I get called back to the kingdom and get to entertain whatever nobles that show during the events that are held throughout the year." He shrugged again before speaking. "there happy with that description.." The thought of him properly dressed was probably something she couldnt fathom even.

Elvara crossed her arms and raised her nose in the air "I was trying to be nice and have a conversation but noooo you have to be an ass about it!" She said in a huff. "God its true what they say...Drows are thick headed" She said and at the start of his protest she cut him off "Your mother was a drow. No matter what you do that blood runs through your veins" She said with a little glare.

"That and the temper, attitude and ears to" She said looking at him with a tilt of her head "Its all there" She said again before bending her arms and crossing them over the back of her head "Maybe thats why we dont get along" She said slightly.

He smirked a bit listening to her go on "works for me, I didn't plan to get alone with one of my own kind anyway." He shrugged a little "to be honest I wasn't trying to be a ass.. its just." He seemed to pause a moment. "I don't enjoy the whole events of the nobles and royals.." He frowned a little thinking about it. "though i guess to make you happy im sure they'll go sending some of the riders out to fetch me soon enough.." He really seemed displeased with the idea that he was going to have to go back. Though she'd probably be tickled to get rid of him.

Elvara shrugged. "I hate it to you know" She said "I hate the nobals and formals and blah blah blah" She said. "Thats why I took up patrole plus the herb specialest in the kingdom" She said "To busy to have to be at home" She smiled looking to him 'I understand completely" She said with a nod of her head.

He laughed slightly "yet you said we don't get along, tsk.. " Though he never got the chance to take up what he wanted to do. "least you had a freedom, granted I took up a side profession.. I just never get to practice it as much as I'd like to." He never mentioned what it was though he noticed the look she gave him "no it's nothing to do with the opposite sex.."

really she'd probably laugh at what he was skilled at doing, it was something his mother never did any more yet he had a unnatural talent for just that. Vaden always encouraged him to keep up with it seeing as he always ran off on his own anyway .. it wasn't a bad skill to have as far as traveling went. Let alone it wasn't a common skill anymore.

It was a little odd really.. he was use to her being pissed at him not her saying that she understood let alone that they were getting along for a few moments in a conversation.

Elvara laughed a little at that "Hey you mentioned it" She said playfully. "And what freedom was that?" She asked "I still had to fallow orders and I was dragged back to the castle kicking and screaming" She said with a little laugh. "Though what can you" She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Kicking and screaming huh.. I'd almost pay to see that" He smirked a little. "though. I use to fight about going back, I just stopped caring. Go through a few months of entertaining the courts and the I leave again during the tournament season." He seemed to shrug a little, not like he was any worth to his team during that season, sure they both knew he could fight but he refused to do so.

The other odd thought was that Vaden never went to go get him either, then again that damned wizard seemed to always know more then he let on to. It was a little scary at times really. Though this was a bit of a odd conversation, the other day the two could hardly stand one another and from this morning it seemed like tit was going to be a repeat of the other day.

Elvara nodded her head "Yep for me though it wasnt a wizard like you' She said slightly "It was castle gaurd that came to find me...a dragonoid" She said with a nod of her head "I fought a couple times but soon gave up" Elvara said this a little sigh "It was no fun anymore when she started fighting back' Elvara said with a laugh "Havent beaten her in combat once" She said thinking with a tilt of her head.

The day went by fast as they talked to each other over little things. Soon the reached the town and she stood on the border looking at the wooden buildings. Seeing the black smith on the edge of town she walked over with a smile "Good day sir!" She said "I am in search of a sword" She said "The sword of a dull blade" She said watching the males reaction before her.

"The sword of a dull blade. I havent herd that name in awhile" The man said "It is said that the sword rested within the belly of the best in the southern caves" He said 'Though be warned. The beast has razor sharp teeth that match just as sharp claws. With wings that can take it anywhere" He said shivering.
