i prefer the 75% DARK CHOCOLATE.
I can go somewhat darker but then I kinda start to think its to bitter for me. I've just come back to Trisphee.

I love chocolate. Usually supremely dark chocolate. like the 90%
The bitterness is good in my opinion. There is slight sweetness. Though sometimes I eat white chocolate even though its not realy chocolate it still tastes good. I prefer dark chocolate but I also like milk chocolate.

Picked up a bag of chocolate covered raisins today. Annoyed with the price though. Felt like some good old waxy Glossettes with their dried out raisins in the little purple box, but no. Had to settle for some Cadbury things in a fancy shiny bag.

I don't like solid chocolate like a Hershey Bar, it has to have something else in it like Twix, Kit Kat, 3 Musketeers, etc.
I get sick when I eat chocolate on top of chocolate king of foods like Devil's food cake. I can go for cake batter with chocolate frosting anything that isn't ALL chocolate.

Yeah, I prefer something in it too. I usually avoid solid chocolate and go for caramel filled or bars with wafers or crispy things in them. My favourite chocolate bars are typically Coffee Crisp and Max 5, though I don't think Max 5 is around anymore. Didn't last long it seemed.
One of my new favourite chocolate types from the fancy stores is salt caramel chocolates, along with the usual things like "Tiger/Panther" butter, which is white or milk chocolate marbled with peanut butter. Very sweet and tastey. Straight up fudge I can go for, or brownies or chocolate cake, but not solid chocolate.

Oh my god, that tiger butter stuff sounds amazing.
I love specialty chocolates. One place I go to makes a thing they call cordials even though they're not filled with anything, they're more like an m&m without the shell. But they're flavored, and very oddly flavored. They have: sea salt, rosemary, almond, basil, coffee liquor, and my -favorite- rose. Tastes exactly like you're smelling roses. It's too awesome with chocolate. I'll take chocolate any way I can get it though. I mostly prefer Hershey and Cadbury. I'm so obsessed with Cadbury that I often make a mule by that name... Which reminds me, don't think I've done that yet here...

Chocolate and salt is good, though I'm more partial to sweeter chocolate than dark. Unless I go to a specialty store all I can find it dark. Must be the whole "dark chocolate is healthier for you* thing. The amount of dark chocolatate relative to milk and white has gone up big time and most of the flavoured or mixed chocolates that I find are dark. I like dark and cherry but only so much.
One of my favourite lindt bars was their execellence white chocolate with vanilla bean but I haven't seen one in ages. Not since the influx of dark chocolate.
