Awèsyiss narrowed her eyes a bit at Raina as she looked her way. Once the two were out of sight, she went over to what appeared to be the blacksmith's tent. "Finally, something I can relate to," she commented dryly to herself as made her way over. Suddenly she grabbed her sword, pulling it from her boot and flipping it; slapping the flat end on her back just as an arrow connected with it.

She whirled around to see the shooter, a slight scowl on her face as the elf readied another arrow, "Excuse me, but what are you doing?" She held the sword down, it's tip just barely touching the ground. As the arrow was released, she brought the sword back up, covering her heart as the arrow bounced off it's metal.

"Just what is a Drow do-..no..a Half Drow/Demon? Woooww" he chuckled as he started to say 'wow', making it choppy and even more insulting. "You better get out Reto before King Urvot finds you here..." He drew back another arrow, aiming at her forehead.

Awèsyiss sighed, sheathing her sword back in her boot. As much as she wanted to put this in in it's place; she knew Niku would not like it. "Very well, if you insist. After all, I'm only the despicable creature that brought your Prince back to his High Elf status and accompanied him home to make sure he had a safe journey." She turned on her heal and started off to where she entered the city.

Another elf came up and smacked the man on the back of his head, "Idiot! She is Prince Niku's guest, and she will be treated respectfully." The female hurried over to Awèsyiss, "Wait..please..he's just stupid, don't mind him Miss."

Awèsyiss paused, turning to face the young female elf; she looked no older than 17. She smiled a bit, "While I appreciate your manners, I do need to step away. No offense to you High Elves, but I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy...I'm not used to such crowds of you. I will be sure to stop by again, you have marvelous jewelers here~" She put on a fake smile and continued out.

Awèsyiss found a nice place only about a mile out of the city limits to rest. She sat herself on a boulder, removing the pendant from her sword and looking at it some more. It was a shame the woman didn't think of putting a small bit of Amethyst for the eyes; it would've been rather stunning. She let out a sigh, reattaching it and leaning back on her hands as she watched the clouds roll by. She hoped Niku wouldn't be too much longer; they had important things to do.

Niku walked out of his house after a few minutes, he sighed. He went off to find Awèsyiss, "I hope she didn't go far." He said to himself as he headed down the steps back to the square. He saw two arrows shattered on the ground. "Blacksmith what happened here?" He asked slightly annoyed.

"Can't you see I'm busy here? Come back in awhile." The male elf said as he looked over his shoulder. "Oh my, your majesty! I'm sorry." He said with a bow. "A young elf attacked your guest." He said pointing to the young elf.

"Thank you." Niku said flipping a gold coin to the man. He walked over to the young elf that was pointed out. "Excuse me?" He said poking the young elf on the shoulder.

The young elf turned around, with a slight scowl on his face. Which turned into an 'o' shape as he noticed that it was the Prince that addressed him. "Y-..yes your majesty?" He asked with a bow.

"Why did you go and attack my friend? She is a Drow and we are friends with Drow's." Niku said crossing his arms.

"I'm sorry sire, she just looked like bad company." The elf said with a slight stutter.

"She is not bad company. Now I would like you to apologize to her." Niku said feeling for Awèsyiss. He found her, and grabbed the elf's small ear and squeezing hard. "And you will do it sincerely." He said pulling the elf to Awèsyiss. They made it to Awèsyiss, "Now young man apologize to her." He said with a slight frown.

"I-..I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't know you were a guest of the Prince. Please forgive me." The elf said in pain, as the elves ears were really sensitive.

Niku let the elf go, "Now go." He said sternly.

The elf nodded and ran back to the town.

"Damn children, come let us go to the library. You will be able to enter with me." Niku said as he headed off to the library.

Awèsyiss sighed, crossing her arms as the ignorant elf spoke to her, "Do it again and I will teach you respect the hard way." She stood as he left, following behind Niku, "He's lucky we were in a populated area...I would've bitten his head off..literally." She chuckled slightly, "So, how's the family? Raina seemed rather angry with you; I though you said she forgave you."

"I know you would have." Niku said with a chuckle. "They are good, my children are off with the hunting party. My son is quite the swordsman, and my daughter is quite the archer. Raina said she rivals me and her." He said with a laugh. "She wasn't actually mad, she just wanted to keep up the appearance." He said as he made it to a stone wall. He quickly muttered something in elfish, and the door opened. "It isn't that far down." Niku said as he grabbed a burnt out torch, he quickly light it with his power.

They made it to the bottom of the stairs, he heard multiple bows draw and some swords unsheathe.

"Who enters the library?" A voice boomed.

"Prince Niku, and a friend." Niku said as he blew on the fire to make it go to the big torch in the center of the room. He stepped forward showing his face.

"Welcome back your majesty. You may enter." The voice said as the archers removed the arrows, and the swordsmen sheathed their swords.

Niku nodded as he headed to the new set of stairs. "We have quite the security down here." He said with a small smile.

Awèsyiss followed along silently, "I could've gotten past them with ease...it doesn't do any good if your guards are unconscious." Her boot clanged loudly on the hard stone of the stairs as they ascended, the many chains about her clinked softly as she moved; all disrupting the silence of the library. Even in the dimmed light, she could see perfectly well, "Are you sure such information would even be here? Who would even keep a record of it anyway?" She did feel a bit uneasy this far underground; she preferred land or sky, not subterranean areas.

Niku smiled, "The royal family would, we keep detailed records of everything. And I know just where to check." He said as they reached the top of the second staircase. He took a right, "Could you stay here for a second? Even though I trust you, I can't show you this next part." He said stopping and turning to look at her.

He took a left and came up to another stone wall, he quickly did a movement on the door and inserted his ring into the hole that appeared. The door opened, and it opened very loudly. He sent a wave of fire down the hall on the torches, they all lit up. He looked around the bookcase, "Come." Niku said waving Awèsyiss to follow him.

Awèsyiss nodded, waiting patiently until he returned. "Don't command me like an animal, Niku." She narrowed her eyes a bit, but came over nonetheless. "But why...if no one really knows the reason this whole thing started, it's got to be some sort of...'black market' issue or the likes; you know what I mean? And if it's something like that, I'm sure they wouldn't want anyone to find out and would not keep records of it." She shrugged, "Just sayin'."

"Sorry." Niku said with a frown. "I didn't mean for it to sound like I was commanding you like an animal." He said walking down the hall. "Well I know it isn't 'black market'. The reason why no one really know the reason is because the war started 5,000 years ago. And all of the elves that were around during that time are dead." He said with a sigh. "We may live longer but we don't live forever." He said as they entered the main chamber. "Ok... Let's see here..." Niku said scanning the shelves.

She waved her hand in the air, "Don't worry about it. I get..testy underground...that's all." Shem remained at the entrance, watching him silently for a moment, "How long can Elves live for; in general? Since you don't live forever, you would think that by now your King would find this war pointless and put a stop to it himself. A lot of things do not add up Niku." A frown came upon her face for a moment before being replaced by the traditional bored look she wore.
