uhhhh okay, here's my impressions then.

You prioritize items you love over perfect matches, some of your best work is when you're following a theme, and you like to keep your avi making chill with whatever feels right. You're pretty casual about our avatar system despite the number of new outfits you make. i'm fairly confident that you don't waste hours of your life on making an outfit. you either put it together in a short sitting, or over a number of days.

Not sure I have an exact pattern...

...more mild detail - not quite on Espy's level of detail, likes to mix detailed backgrounds, not the most attentive to matching color (cause I'm a tad vision impaired, but I do try to balance the colors), likes shading and transparent things...sometimes try to get lighting effects. I like a thematic feel, even if the theme is a very odd one. Sort of like cutting a scene from a story/world.

And I often don't start with/use a base.

Wow, you do notice a lot. XD Its mostly because I don't have a lot of items that go together, so I just use what I like and make the best of it. I need to go on a shopping spree one day and also update my wish list. >>; As for the outfits, I do usually do them in one sitting, usually no more than an hour either. :3

Fair enough Galla. I don't think I really post enough for a pattern to be noticed. Honestly, I tend towards making avatars based on my characters. Either OCs or from video games. It would be difficult to establish a pattern off of that.

When I do make avatars that aren't based on characters, though, I tend towards trying to get the colors to match closely while also following a basic theme that I have in mind. I do tend towards darker color schemes more often then not, but I try to break away from that from time to time, as with my current avatar. Honestly, with this one I just wanted something that made me think Goddess.

I will admit that my color schemes most often involve only 2 colors. It's rare that I include a 3rd color, and I don't think I've ever included a 4th.
