So last night, my supervisor at Joann forgot to check who she was closing with (because even when the temps aren't sub-zero, they aren't comfortable with me walking home at night), so I got to ride on a motorcycle for the first time and it was exhilarating!

I ordered the Ghibli DVD collection since my hunt for Ghibli DVDs at my local convention failed. 8D

Ghibli movies are the best, I like your Avatar, KittyBeary.
Correct me if I'm wrong but to me it looks like a Laputa/Kiki cosplay. Perhaps just Laputa... I really need to refresh my memory. ^^;

Saved a pigeon from the boiler room at work, by myself, tonight. This is normally a 2 person job as they can be tricky to get cornered and safely catch, but I managed it on my own!
Unfortunately, it had gotten some feathers caught in a mouse trap that was down there, but I got it off and hopefully it can still fly.

My Ghibli DVD collection came, and now I can watch the ones I haven't seen. 8D

But the Totoro english dub is the first one and I prefer the Disney dub. ;u; Oh well, I might give it a chance. xD

OMG you have the original Totoro? The one done by the airline and put out on DVD by Fox? I'm the opposite. I like the old, but not so much the Disney one. It's super hard to find now.

shabbat is tonight and my friend's driving over from tennessee to come visit and play music. should be really nice! i haven't been to synagogue in a few weeks so i'm thinking it'll have me feeling at least a little bit better.
