Wolfe nodded slightly as he continued to eat his dinner.

[Kaliko]

Raven was silent for a moment before sighing. "I just don't know how much to take Frei into consideration when it comes to our relationship," he explained.

[Rinrou]

"She's not a dependent," Wolfe explained after a moment.

[Kaliko]

"But she's a big part of your life," Raven noted.

[Rinrou]

Wolfe stared at Raven for a long moment, "Yes, she is a large factor in my life, I'll always protect her," he stated.

[Kaliko]

Raven shrugged a little. "So how does Frei fit into our relationship then?" he asked.

[Rinrou]

Wolfe blinked, "I wouldn't have picked you if I didn't think you'd be good for Frei," he stated simply.

[Kaliko]

"But what are we to each other?" Raven asked. "How am I supposed to treat her? If you're her guardian, does that make me her guardian too? Or am I just a friend? Or something else?"

[Rinrou]

Wolfe didn't seem to understand what he was asking.

[Kaliko]

Raven sighed a little, not sure how else to phrase it.

[Rinrou]

"None of us had parents, Raven," Wolfe stated after a moment, "We all raised each other. So I suppose, in a sense, I'm like a parent to her... but because the brain experiments make her think very differently, she's raised herself up to this point and has dealt with everything the best she can. There's no one else like her in the world, no one she can seek advice or true help from. So I suppose, to answer your question, she doesn't need a father or another guardian, she needs someone who will push her and guide her how to behave in a world she does not fit in to. That's someone I cannot be."

[Kaliko]

Raven was silent for a very long time before nodding his head a little. It was a place to start.

[Rinrou]

Wolfe nodded back as he returned to eating.

[Kaliko]

Raven remained quiet, not starting the conversation up again.

[Rinrou]

Wolfe finished eating before reaching out and putting his hand on Raven's.
