Cardboard boxes are my favourite. Just to peek out and watch people. I had a fridge box on my porch for about a year. Me and one of my nine cats, Aurora, claimed it. She'd lay atop, I'd lay inside.

Well, I loved my dogs when I had them, as much as my cats, but they all died. And my cats are spoiled so they're much more loving then some people make them out to be. xD

I had cats before too...but they all ran away... I can never be the crazy cat lady...evuur.
Dogs, however, stay long enough with me.

Dogs do tend to be more loyal. If you're being murdered, dog tries to save you, while the cat glances at you and goes to its food dish, then the window to take a nap. xD

even my not-so-brave dog, well...he's a complete coward... he tries his best to protect me while I walk him at the park.

Exactly. xD My dogs were half wolf, and rather protective. Even if the male, Bruno, bit me in the face when I was little, about six. Not deep enough to make scars, and I was back to sleeping next to him the next day.
