The Asian boy then pointed over to Treat, but kept his eyes firmly on Far. "No!"

Trick looked between Zero and his brother slowly.

"...I'm not gonna hurt him." Far told Zero. "I didn't even touch him."

Treat slowly let go of the doorknob and slipped down to the floor- curling up.

Shooting Far a glare, Zero stumbled over to Treat and knelt down beside him. He pointed to himself and strained out, "Oh... kay..."

Treat looked up with his tear-stained eyes. He sniffed and reached out gripping one of Zero's long, slender fingers.

Zero quietly watched him for a moment, before he held out his hand for Treat quietly, watching the boy in silence.

There was a moment of stillness in which Zero was certain that Treat wasn't going to take the offering and was about to- without any real hurt -pull his hand back. Then, to his and Trick's astonishment, Treat slipped his hand slowly into Zero's.

Masking his surprise expertly, Zero slowly smiled and gently curled his fingers around Treat's - not tightly... he didn't want the boy to feel like he was trapped.

"O... kay..." He strained again, his voice cracking painfully as he continued to smile. "Its... oh... kay..."

Treat came into Zero slowly- leaning on his chest and still breathing a bit labored. He sniffed and closed his eyes.

"No it's not...it never is." He whimpered.

With a frown, Zero turned to look at Far, as if to accuse him of frightening the boy. Trick stumbled over to his brother and 'father'.

"He just needs his medicine!" He told the Asian teen, shaking his hands wildly. "He's not like this... he just needs his medicine!"

"Left it at home...why didn't we bring it." Treat croaked at his brother. "It was our sponsibility."

"No," Zero croaked, kissing Treat's forehead. "Its... okay... its okay... It's okay!"

"Zero, please don't talk, you're hurting yourself!" Trick cried before he turned to Far with tear-filled eyes. "Please, take us back to the hospital! Zero is hurt and you need medicine!"

"Argh!" Far ran his fingers through his blonde hair roughly. "I'm not sick right now...I don't...Those people hurt Zero...almost killed him."

"It was an accident...just like you doing all of this...forgetting the medicine...it's all an accident!" Treat sobbed.

"You are sick!" Trick cried, backing up so that he was in front of his brother and Zero... like a mother protecting her young from a predator. "You... you're acting like the scary man with the red eyes!"
