I wouldn't mind having a couple myself again now that I'm older, but they just don't exist in stores, and I have no room here for sewing.

Well, I'd be stitching it all by hand...so I'd have to be in the mood to sew. x'D I barely finished the one purse I was making, took me like three years to complete it, two of those years just not feeling like sewing. Then again there were a lot of things I had to do/get for the purse as well, like zippers and such. ^^;

And swishy skirts are the kind of sewing you can do while watching TV. All you need to do is sew a few panels together, hem on one end, and make a drawstring at the other, and you're good to go.
