[Michael]

Michael nodded with a satisfied smile. "Yea, it was real comfy. Nicest room I been in in a while." He grinned, leaning back further in his chosen seat with a smirk. He did raise his eyebrows though, watching the very tired looking man putter about. "Y'ain't gonna ask me fer coin 'er nothin'?" He sounded surprised, shocked a little- honestly.

[Espy]

Hearing a commotion outside the pub, Espy pulled up her hood and went to the door. After listening for a bit, she slipped outside.

A few minutes later the customers inside heard her vehemently denying her identity.

[Cronislee]

YOU! *grabs Espy* I've been looking for you!

[Vox]

Vox, hearing the commotion, quietly stepped to the door. She gasped when she saw the heavily armored knight holding Espy. "You! I just saw you on the battlefield and you - " she stopped, massaging her shoulder where his blade had slashed. "What are you doing with the lady?"

[Cronislee]

"Is'nt any of your concern Heathen! The lady an' I have buisness to deal with so just keep moving..."

[Vox]

Vox sputtered, "Heathen?! ME?!" Dark religions got so pretentious. Vox wasn't the best fighter, but she was brave, and the basic martial arts and spells taught by the Divine captains had taken down many a Corrupt foe. She prepared a spell, all save the word which would trigger it, but paused to ask, "Miss, do you need help?"

Because sometimes even do-gooders accidentally did wrong by not knowing the score.

[Rem]

Rem was just about to tell Vox how much she owed for the soup when the commotion outside the front door caught his attention. He looked up, frowning at the figures seen through the blurred glass of the heavy front doors. They seemed to be arguing.

He didn't follow Vox as she ran immediately to help, instead shooting Michael a look. "Wotch th' bar fehr me, mate," he growled and picked up a long cloth-wrapped item under the bar, heading outside.

"Ho!" he said to the three as he stepped onto the stone entrance, shutting the door. "Wot's goin' on out 'ere?"

He grinned at the gentleman then, grabbing a cup himself and moved to take a seat near Michael, pouring himself a cup of black gold and adding a sinful amount of cream and sugar. "Mikey it is then...Michael is much too formal fehr this place, t'be sure." He leaned back and blew gently on the coffee, watching the steam trail lazily in the air. "An' wot brings yeh out on such a dismal night [[or day whatever it is xD]] as this, mate?" He motioned towards Espy, indicating she could partake of the coffee as well, if she liked.

[Espy]

(-snort- I am currently having my arm crushed by Cronis, if you haven't noticed.)

Espy growled, and was quite happy that she had put the blades on before she'd gone outside. In a low voice, she asked, "....What do you want from me?"

[Cronislee]

*This fox-" *he jerked her into the lamp light* "has continued to pester my forces with tomatoes when we cross paths in our advances! I also believe she to be a pick-pocket...
he lied with a smirk* "Perhaps we should call the guards?"

[Espy]

As Cronis yanked her into the light, a few vials few from beneath Espy's sash and shattered on the ground, splashing red and black liquids everywhere. My months of work! Espy thought, trying to wrench her arm from Cronis's grasp, to save her alchemical potions.
Suddenly she heard people from inside the bar rushing to the commotion and panicked; she couldn't risk being seen by guards.

[Cronislee]

"What is this!?!" Cronis shouted as he avoided the liquids "Hey, get back here you Fox!" *he attempted the rush after her only to be swamped by the rush of patrons*

[Espy]

Espy cast a glance back at Cronis, trying to decide whether to run or to somehow collect what remained of her vials. That split second of indecision cost her; looking backwards, she didn't notice until too late that she had run straight into a dead end. In desperation, she kicked off the wall and flapped her diminutive wings frantically.

[Cronislee]

*Cronis grabbed her by her tail and pulled her back by to earth* Gotch!"

[Espy]

"OW." In shock, Espy stopped trying to fly and landed in an ungraceful jumble back on the ground. "Shall I repeat myself again? What do you want? I can't give anything back; I never took anything in the first place."

[Cronislee]

*Cronis aproached her and sheathed his blade, but held out his hand* "Your enchanted talismans, I am in need of them...please."

[Espy]

Sheathed blade...? Strange. "Enchanted talismans. What for?"
