Yeah. I hated playing healer mainly until high school. Then, I guess a change of heart came with volunteering hours on end with various disadvantaged groups and at a museum, and I started almost exclusively playing healer with assassin as my backup. I guess...I kind of made helping other people my lifelong goal.

See, what's funny is, my first RPG was Maplestory. My first char there was a mage. Aaaand then I lost it due to 1.) not having played MMORPGs before and 2.) being confused about servers. So I made a second character, who was a thief, because I was ten and didn't remember jack shit. And I stuck with the thief class in all MMORPGs until high school, but I did play around with warrior and then a bit of mage and archer.

I think the strongest pull to healer was in Aion, where I got to the point that I just could NOT solo anymore as an assassin and was being really tired or everyone else having more time and more soloability and hence being at higher levels. I hated falling behind, and still do on occasion. So I swapped servers to prevent anyone from following me (though my ex ended up playing with me and /still/ leveled faster) and started playing as a heavy armor healer, the class with the highest soloability.

I don't really do mages on account of not liking flashy spells. And they just generally have too many spells at hand. Priest have just a few spells, but slow and steady wins the race. I don't die often.

xD i can't remember what my first mmorpg. I'm thinking my first online rpg in general was the 'adventure quest' series. XD I still kinda like it.
I've never played maplestory, kinda want to...

It's kinda weird that a heavy armor 'healer' has the highest survival... XD
Well I like mages whenever they have aoe spells :3 My secret to leveling , for most games, is focus on Str. The faster I can kill enemies, the more exp I can get. Then I start doing more def and such as I get higher levels. x3 Since I'm pretty good at most games I don't die often either. XD Unless I go into a high lvl area unknowlingly.

Oh yeah, Law and I used to play together. It's pretty great, but not that many computers can handle it.

I...didn't have wings. The head stuff was a pair of horns and a pair of elven ears, both from Verdant Lagoon.

Battlemage? Well I can be a pretty aggressive fighter in game but in Skyrim I use magic almost exclusively. With a secondary in bows for sneak criticals, otherwise I keep enough potions on me at all times should I need mana (and I maxed out my destruction and conjuration). But since I use that friend-follower "cheat" I do get quite a bit of leveling in heavy armor and two-handed weaponry. Heavy armor has helped keep me alive during those trouble fights like several death lords attacking at one time in multiple directions ;@, @

As far as classes go I always go for healers and glass cannons that have powerful single target spells. I can get overwhelmed pretty easily in fights so I usually avoid aoe's. I'm a good healer when I'm not getting stuck on stairs.

hah, Adventure Quest! I played that a lot too especially when I had that 1998 etower and later that worn out 2001 Dell. I don't have my original character anymore. Which is so sad cause I put a lot of effort in leveling all those classes availible to free players. =(
DDO I love Rogues for the game's realistic backstab feature. And
DOMO I love dancer's controller abilities that let me "tank" without being hit.
Rift was fun too but I didn't get addicted enough to keep playing. I was fond of the sorcerer wielding a tome and dagger.

TERA looked like a lot of fun, but yeah my computer couldn't handle the game. Fortunately those early level monsters couldn't kill me even with lag that bad.

Okay, yeah, Seg doesn't have wings as a character; those were cash shop items. I figured they fit his overall theme. And he has horns.

Yeah, I was a lvl 59 TERA Mystic, but I both lost my password, and everyone seemed to have lost interest in the game after about half a year.
