At an age when most kittens are busy getting stuck in the couch, Strawbaby thinks she IS the couch.

Derpy's cry cuts off abruptly as the donut gently bounces on his nose. "Oh!" he exclaims in surprise as he grabs it and sits up so he can take a bite. He then glances over and spots Strawbaby. In excitement, he waddles over and hugs her leg. "Hi new fwiend!"

Strawbaby looks down at the little guy with the nommy in his hand, then leans her big head down and gives him a gentle sandpaper slurp. This is followed by a kitten's sound of asking for a bite of his goodie, because the wrapping on the other doughnuts that are laying around keep her from being able to smell them and see that they are food.

I literally couldn't afford it. Those ads run up the bill. I'd been digging out all the mermaids and fantasy horses.

I liked this one app that was all houses better, but the ads on it ran the bill up too high too. So no more colouring for Tam.

Whose left eye just went on strike and announced migraine. And tomorrow we have stall set up at the next sale. C'mon, Tam, really?

uff.... i'm glad I was able to get my migraine shots back. but I can wait... we're dealing with the fallout from Dad being an idiot who continued to smoke despite being told by his doctors that if he didn't quit, he'd lose a leg. He was rushed to the med center up in Omaha yesterday afternoon, surgery that night because he was close to going septic. And then today, he had the audacity to ask me to bring him cigarettes. I told him no and stuck to it, because by the time I got his message, I was already in the town I go to for therapy and was not turning around for those.

*hugs* Revision surgery on his leg was Sunday... but his heart is at 15-20% function at best... he's having a procedure done later today where the doctors/surgeons shock his heart in the hopes that it gets it functioning better. He has 1-2 years left, tops.

So, Dad gets transferred to one of the nursing homes here tomorrow. and mom's decided for me that we're going to see him there. ironically, it's the one I worked at in high school

Visits like that can be scary or trippy even without an obsessive dad in residence.
