That is an interesting book you are reading. I have been reading mostly fiction lately. I have a few non-fiction books I want to get into. I am on a quest this year to read a lot of the books I already own. I have 22 fiction to get through, non-fiction I don't really keep track of because I use most of them as resources for the different topics i am "studying".

I read a Frida Kahlo biography before that. I like knowing about the lives of creative people like that. I have a ton of books to go through... It's daunting.

Me too. This month I read 9 books, just trying to plow through my books, but seriously I have enough books to read for the next 5 years I don't need to buy any more. I get into a reading jag when that is all I do. I have been reading fiction lately, but I read a lot of non-fiction too.

I like books about the spiritual side of life.

I'm lucky school made me read most of the classics, so I can focus on fantasy, science fiction and whatever got left out. I used to read around 9 books a month, too. I should get back into that.

I just read a syfy book that I really liked called The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber. I also read Hyperion by Dan Simmons, also syfy that I thought was very good.

I've also read lots of classics due to school.

Name some syfy books that you've read and really liked. I'm always looking for recommendations.

I can't think of any. I'm sorry. I've had this one called Space Music for maybe 10 years, and never got to reading it. It's amazing how humans, or maybe just I, work.

I remember having this old school nerd math tutor. He was a nerd before computers and video games. He had stacks of fantasy and science fiction books. I've wanted to read them all, but the first one I borrowed I somehow lost. That really makes no sense, since I take care of borrowed things. It was there one day, and gone the next. Oh, he was mad..

I bet he was mad! That is why I don't borrow books, I am always afraid of something happening to it. I don't lend books either unless I care nothing about the book I'm loaning out. My non-fiction I underline in and write in them so I can't lend them out because of that.

Did you ever read Dune? I read it a long time ago, I was thinking of rereading it.

After that and an incident of one of my prized books vanishing, I don't loan nothing besides money if I don't ever want to see you again. It's the best way to get rid of someone.

I did read it a while ago. I was so fascinated by their glowing blue eyes and the worm. The worm is the spice!

I saw your raccoon video, by the way. She was so cute.

What a funny raccoon right? I couldn't believe it. I got a bobcat too
Im just going to fill that channel with game camera videos. hahaha

I might read Dune again, I really didn't care for it, I'm hoping that age has made me more interested in it.

Yeah lending money is a good way to get rid of someone!

I'm tempted to set out a camera on my balcony and one in the yard to our house, but there's also the idea of what if I do catch something on it, and... I already have too many weird experiences.

Back in the day, my mother had a perfume called Dune. I always tried to steal it because I thought it was from the book. Also, if I had pieced together than the spice is similar to cinnamon... No, I wasn't young. I'm just like this.

Yeah, the other day I was looking at weird stuff caught on game cameras, and I was getting creeped out, but some of them were obviously set ups, people messing around, but still it was creepy.

My mother had a perfume called Joy. I loved smelling it, I have always loved perfume. My favorite scent is Opium and Armani Code

There's a lot of fake videos of UFOs, creatures, ghouls and goblins, and technology allows people to get creative, but I'm sure a tiny fraction of it is real.

My mother had Opium. My first perfume was Blue Jeans by Versace. I went in to try it again, get another bottle, it smelled nothing like it. I'll always remember the smell.

I wish perfume bottles weren't mostly spray. It is hard to put the right amount on, I prefer to be able to tilt the bottle. How I usually put my perfume on is I spray it on my wrist then touch my wrist to each side behind my ear. I guess that is the best way, otherwise I smell like a cheap tart.

Yeah there is so much fake stuff out there, some of it, like you said, has to be true tho.

That bothers me, too, but also because perfume bottles are pretty, and, let's face it, a good part of the price is the bottle design, and the spray mechanic makes the bottle unusable after. Sure, you could cut the top and make a little vase, but I got nothing to cut glass with.

I'd like unicorns to be real, because I'm still 5 years old.

I totally agree! Some perfume bottles are so beautiful, yet once empty they are useless unless you have a tool that can cut glass.

Psssst: I have a secret to tell you. Unicorns are real, they were and still are around, they are magical creatures that vibrate at a high level, that is why we can't see them. (Don't tell anyone! Shhhhhhh)

I'm right there with you, 5 is a good age. We should all be magical.

India makes amazing perfume bottles you can reuse later. The bottles look like something out of a fairy tale.

You know, I do believe our human perception is limited. I wonder what all we don't see. I often wonder how many more colours are out there.

A "friend" gave me final proof he's no friend of mine. That's something that always makes me unhappy, no matter how many times it happens. Essentially, he gave me solid proof that he's all about using a person, without giving anything back.
