I have no idea if the last book I read was Wasted or Winter Girls. A friend gave them both to me at the same time and I finished one right after the other. Interesting concepts...
Can't touch this. | ||||

The book I finished reading last was called Crank by Helen Hopkins.I really liked it a lot and enough that I'm reading the second part to it.
I really enjoy this author so far and this book is my favorite I have read from her right now. "Look over your hills and be still The sky above us shoots to kill Rain down, rain down on me"

GOOD GOD I HAVEN'T READ IF FOREVER! -sobs-
Technically it's been like 3 months if you count electronic books read over the computer. Which is still too long for me. -thinks of that DS 'game' with 100 classic books- Anyways if you count the book I read online I actually read like 5 of them in 2 weeks. xD Yes I was so addicted I spent every moment of the week I had trying to finish each chapter, each book. And the saga is called; "The Falcon Banner" By Christopher Lydon

Runaway by Meg Cabot. Last book in her 'Airhead' series and she does disappoint. She has this obsessive need to give everyone a happy ending. Not only does the mean girl who was turned plain gets her own style and boyfriend, but the best friend of the main character hooks up with another guy and he says they're in love and it's like wtf? It's so stupid. And, while everyone is hooking up, they defeat the bad adults with the stupid plan to capture people and become eternally young. But everyone ends up happy, even the douches, and it's so stupid. I'm sick and tired of this. She actually used to write decently, but now it's just a mash-up of the same plot again and again. I'm officially off of her from now on.

I just finished reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. It was an amazing, amazing book. It was hard to read though. Not content wise, but emotional wise. There were moments in the book where I wanted to cry, set the book on fire, then throw the ashes against a wall because some things angered/upset me so much. XD But I think it takes a good book to do that to me.
The only thing I didn't like was the overly obvious foreshadowing. Blah. And the ending...the ending wasn't quite as happy as I hoped it would be. It left me feeling kinda empty. But still, it was a very good book. I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. x3
