petite fantaisiste
My parents used to have me wear sandals and socks in the summer because they felt sandals would give me blisters if I didn't wear socks.

I don't think I've ever worn a cork sandal xD

...The thought of croc heels and croc boots is too scary to contemplate.

I've worn flipflops on rare occasions, more often then heels. For me it's my DC's all the way, classic hightops that aren't too form fitting like converse
I could never get into converse myself. To flat of a footing for me?

I wear converse knock-offs all the time xD. I think it has to do with the fact that I don't like wearing shoes in general--so the flatter and more feet-like the better X'D.

I prefer no shoes also, but have a decently high arch apparently? Not sure how it got there. How do these things happen? I feel they don't specifically talk about foot arches and genetics......
Onwards to google!
-more procrastination-

Edit: this seemed interesting
"The anatomy and shape of a person’s longitudinal and transverse arch can dictate the types of injuries that person is susceptible to. The height of a person’s arch is determined by the height of the navicular bone. "
also
" Additionally, high or low arches can increase the risk of shin splints as the anterior tibialis must work harder to keep the foot from slapping the ground."

-reads foot jargon-
-searches quote-
Revolvy? Or student doc forum?

I think I have a normal arch.

...apparently flat shoes are "unsupportive" and cause foot problems in some people :x I dunno how credible any of the sources are, but http://www.piedmont.org/living-bette...-for-your-feet seems alright.

That may be the actual sources, it would not suprise me. I was at the melting pot of information, wiki XD
I've heard that a lot about flat shoes too, just like shoes to narrow can help be a cause in bunions
