If I understand correctly, I think most shifts are supposed to be 8 hours.

Well, regardless of the length of the shift, might be nice to have lunch at least after the halfway point of it.

Angel; We kind of do. We provide our availability sheets of when we can work. But because they wouldn't give me a sheet, I made my own and wrote on it, no more than 15 hours per week, any additional hours above 15 would require permission from me.

Ah! They needed to give you a sheet so that you could fill it out properly. Then they could avoid such confusion.

Yea, that makes so much sense to have lunch at the beginning of your shift... Oh wait, no it doesn't, it's mean and hateful to do that to an employee.
