"To me, a staff really doesn't pass by as a long range, mass weapon of destruction," Chloe pauses, pulling out enough money from her pocket to cover both of their meals, which she places on the table, "unless you have done some major modifications and are toting like a rocket launcher or some other heavy machinery inside that staff, cause chances are, we haven't even passed through the silence before the storm."

Jayden studies Hayate for a few moments before popping the cuffs back on to their holding place before saying in a low voice that only Hayate could hear, "If your thinking of attempting an escape, than not here, it would be suicide. They probably have orders to shoot first without any questions." Not saying anything else, Jayden opens the car door and slides out, before reaching and grabbing ahold of Hayate's forearm, in a firm but gentle manner before pulling Hayate out of the car.

What's he whispering to that Skull? Makoto studied Jayden and Hayate through the rear-view mirror. She grabbed her handgun from the side of the seat and holstered it before getting out of the SUV. I really doubt that I would need to use a gun in there, but it's better to have one than grabbing someone else's gun.

HAYATE

Hayate growled loudly from Jayden's hold and glared exasperatedly at him. How far does he expect me to be able to run before they find me, anyways?

...Run. ...Run?

Many of the Skulls had hoverboards, albeit cheap and mostly outdated ones, besides those of the Tech Skulls. There were sure to be a few newer versions in the headquarters...right? And it's not like I haven't gotten enough practice on my own, at least, until I crashed it...But would they have passcodes and other locks?

[Dawn]

Jayden just gives Hayate a look as he shuts the car door, "I can still use the hand cuffs, you know." He reminds Hayate as he pulls him on to the sidewalk outside the Station's front doors, "So unless you want to be more miserable than you are now, I wouldn't be complaining too much if I was you. Or I could always hand you to over the Hunters right now and just worry about the mountain of paper work I have to do while the Hunters do whatever the Hell they want with you."

[Straywolf]

"Maybe you should just do that. I'm a little curious about that facillity the Hunters have set up for those Skulls. I wonder if they torture them." The thought floated in Makoto's mind as she grabbed her jacket and locked up the car. She followed the officer and the captured Skull to the entrance of the police headquarters while tying her jacket around her waist.

HAYATE

"I wonder if they have showers in there," Hayate mused under his breath. Or a medical wing. Even if they did, he supposed he would have to stay cooperative. It didn't seem as though the Hunters would provide such facilities to their...prisoners.

Hayate grimaced as the word passed through his mind. He hoped the angry cat wouldn't be so stupid as to try to save him. I don't think I'm worth the trouble, hah. She'll be risking her life if she comes here...and she's a Ryuujin.

As he was marched towards the entrance, he silently vowed to help the cat gather recruits in the off-chance he escaped.

[Dawn]

Jayden gives Makoto a glance, "I'm curious as well but there are morals you know, he might deserve to be tortured and experimented on and who know else what they do there but not without a fighting chance first," he pauses for a second, debating before turning serious, "And you probably already figured this out on your own so no point in keeping it quiet, is there? I would like to know, after you have met her and talked to her in regular circumstances, would you be so willing to hand Chloe straight over to the Hunters if given the choice? Or is she, in your eyes, just like the kid here, something to hunt that doesn't have feelings or hopes or dreams just like you do?" Jayden doesn't wait for Makoto's answer, he wanted her to think about her answers to those questions as he pulls open the door and guiding Hayate into the rather busy station.

"Playing keep away is not so bad besides I know how to fight with it, was trained in the art of Ling-Sheng Su Style Rod & Kong Style Rod so I can manage it's just something I never really look forward to is fighting other people. I like building things to help us all out as you know." he said to her.

Roland sat at his desk going through the new stack of files that someone had placed there. He wasn't all to happy about it either. Suddenly his attention was grabbed by the front door to the station opening.

"Oh well if it isn't Jayden and little miss hunter~", he chimed.

[Straywolf]

Makoto held in a laugh as she followed Jayden and Hayate into the police station. No wonder she was so hostile towards me back at his place. I never thought about it then, but now I know.

"I don't send the people who help me out to their deaths, regardless of who they are, who they're associated with, or what they do. The Hunters tell me to go kill or capture Skulls, but I do things my way. So until Chloe decides to get in my way or attack me with her gang, she won't see me pointing a gun at her head. And to be honest, I could care less of what 'hopes and dreams' my targets have."

A familiar voice called out to her and Jayden. "Oh, it's you. Roland, the officer with the skull-patterned bandanna." Makoto stopped following Jayden, and gave Roland a cold gaze.

[Dawn]

"It all depends on the situation, Zaki," Chloe blows a strand of loose hair out of her face, "Sometimes not fighting is the best way and than, sometimes you have to fight. I don't enjoy fighting but if there's no other choice, than I will defend myself. We always do need new gadgets but spending all your time building things is not really healthy, you need more interaction with people besides the blood sucker and me."

"You don't have to worry about Chloe getting in your way, she really has no interest in tangoing with the Hunters, she has more important things to do with her time and I don't see the other techs being any different." Jayden's eyes land on Roland who had called out, "I thought you were suspended, Roland? Anyway, if you two want to play catch up, I need to see the Chief to deal with matters at hand."

He gives Hayate a small nudge toward the Chief's office. Easier to get this over with now..

HAYATE

"WAIT. YOU," Hayate blurted out as soon as he saw Roland and recognized the policeman who had presumably knocked him out cold in front of the hideout. "Was this your plan all along? To play nice while working with the Hunters? My friends are dead from that attack!"

With a wild snarl across his face, Hayate twisted free of Jayden's grasp and made a crazed lunge at Roland. He had barely reached the man when the wound he had received from the Hunter reopened and he staggered past Roland, grimacing.

Blinking his way through the pain, he glared at both policemen from under matted locks of hair while trying to stem the flow of blood.

Shit. I forgot about that.

[Trakadon]

Roland quickly stepped to the side, raised is leg and kicked Hayate in the face with the side of his foot as if kicking a soccer ball. The loud thud could be heard throughout the station and soon after another thud could be heard from Hayate falling to the floor.

Roland raised his hand to his cheek and scratched it slightly. "Hmm... Might have kicked him a little to hard..."

Suddenly the door to the chief's office flys open. "What the hell is going on here!" He looks down at Hayate on the floor and then back up to Roland. "God damn it... Didn't I tell you not to cause problems!"

Roland sighed. "He just suddenly charged me. Jayden was the one who brought him here in the first place."

"I don't want to hear your excuses! And Jayden! Why the hell didn't you have this kid restrained?!" Sighing and rubbing his eyes the chief pointed at the Hayate. "Just get this kid to the infirmary and make sure you hand cuff him to the bed damn it."

And with a slam of his door the chief was gone. Roland whistle and leaned over Hayate. "I got in trouble because of you..." He grabbed the Hayate and started to left him up. Supporting his weight on his shoulder. "Well lets go Jayden... You have the hand cuffs."

[Dawn]

It took Jayden by surprise when Hayate twisted out of his grip and lunged at Roland but not reaching his target, seemed a wound had reopen. Yet he grimaced as Roland kicked the kid in the face and the thud as Hayate landed on the floor, knocked out cold.

"You really have a knack for making life long friends, don't you?" Jayden sighs as he rubs his forehead and looks at Roland's handiwork before noticing the chief was practically glaring at Roland.

Before Jayden could respond to the question directed at him, the Chief's door slams shut, definitely not in a good mood, Jayden notes to himself, "Um sure." Jayden says, catching the last part about let's go and handcuffs before glancing at Makoto, "I doubt there's much more for you to do here, I'll understand if you want to leave. I'm sure there's more important things than hanging around a Police Station." he turns to help Roland get Hayate to the infirmary.

Makoto nodded at Jayden before looking at the Hunters that were stationed at the Police HQ. I might as well look around. We apparently took over all Police operations, including on the explosion case.

She walked away from the two officers and the Skull. People were gathering around to see what had happened, some catching and missing a view of Hayate getting kicked by Roland, and hearing the angered police chief yell. She wasn't comfortable being surrounded by a bunch of people.

Maybe I'll find some information. Anything would work right now. Info on police officers, last-known Skull locations.

"Huh what well, hey I have friends. . . .kinda. . . " he said slightly pouting away yeah okay he was a shut in but what could you say that all he knew how to do other then well what he knew best. Making friends was far from him and he was kinda lame at trying to make friends. "No wait I have you, the scary vampire and Ashton well ummm I think she a friend. . . " poor guy confused him self for being so smart.
