Lawliet was blinking now with all the others.

She grabbed Lawliet and took off down one part of Chester's huge house.

--Scene Change--

Near had gone back to the closet, trying to find some sort of trap door, although logically he knew there was no way he could have gone from England to America through just a single door.

None of this was really logical anyway.

It had been an hour or so before he heard the others outside regroup and then leave the apartment, but he didn't risk venturing out. Then there was a light knock on the closet door that made him freeze up.

"You can come out now." A voice informed.

Crouched beside the door, Near had one leg pulled up against his chest and one of his hands was buried into his white curls. Slowly, he turned the door handle and pushed the door open a crack, peering out.

"It's safe." Mail assured. "Everyone's taken off."

Frowning a little bit, Near slowly pushed the door open all the way and crawled out, before climbing carefully to his feet.

Mail could see that he had pulled on a large jacket and taken off the sneakers that Nate had been wearing.

Frowning even more, Near reached up to fix his hair - which only meant he was messing it up even more, but doing it himself. "I want to go home."
