"...Matt," Naveen replied with a small nod, tugging down the large hoodie that one of the nurses had put on him when he'd been wheeled in, naked. "...Linda."

[Mint]

"...How?" Matt managed next.

Treat poked his head out of the room at the end of the hall and blinked down at everyone.

[Uke]

"I think Next should tell you that one," Naveen whispered, shifting uncomfortably. "Its his to tell..."

"...um," Next offered, looking around for a more private place. "Can't it wait? Why don't we... just enjoy the moment?"

[Mint]

"I don't...understand." Matt frowned- looking down at Next. "You did it? Or you knew about him being...alive?"

Treat looked back into the room.

"It's some kid that look like Near." Treat told his brother and Zero.

[Uke]

"...Does he have another brother?" Trick wondered with a frown.

"I did it," Next whispered, looking down. "He... he was dead..."

"...If notebooks can kill people," Linda sighed, shaking her head.

[Mint]

"Didn't L say that in his notes?" Matt blinked at Linda.

"You mean aside from the dead one?" Treat asked. "I don't know, never asked."

[Uke]

"A notebook of death," She sighed. "A Death Note, I think he called it... if that kind of thing exists... then why can't people come back to life?"

"It... isn't quite like that," Next whispered. "...Can we please just drop it? I'm worried about Near..."

[Mint]

"We'll wait." Matt assured. "Next, what happened with Near?"

Matt looked around.

"...Did they leave Mello in the room with Near?" Matt looked around again.

The car stopped outside the hospital and the door came open. The blonde boy stepped out and turned back to the driver.

"Thank you, I'll make sure you compensated." He told him before checking his pockets- for maybe the fifth time and coming up that his bottle of anti-psychotics were still not on him.

[Uke]

The driver gave him a nod and might have muttered a 'good luck', before driving off as the kid headed toward the front doors.

[Mint]

He took a breath and stepped inside looking around. This place had K in it, so it was affiliated with Wammy's House, but would they just let him in to see Zero? Would he have to bypass security to get in. It was likely that maybe they thought he was off his rocker already and perfectly justifiable. No, he'd avoid the check-in counter and find his own way in...it wouldn't be heard, they were likely keeping him in the same wing they always kept Wammy's patients, it was just getting up there undetected.

He moved over to the elevator and hit the button- calling it down.

[Uke]

To his surprise as the doors came open he spotted none other then F.

The man gave him a quiet look, before stepping to the side to invite Far in. "We've been waiting for you... Zero's on floor two."

[Mint]

Far narrowed his eyes.

"...Expecting me?" He asked- staying where he was.

[Uke]

F blinked at him, before lifting an eyebrow. "Mello said that the lot of you were just behind him in catching a plane here..."

[Mint]

"No, just me." Far replied. "And what floor was Zero on?"

[Uke]

"Two," F repeated. "Taking the stairs?"

[Mint]

"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Far smiled and reached over hitting the door-close button and waving to the man as the doors shut.
