I'm quite gifted at cooking if I say so myself...even though I am practically guaranteed to burn myself during the process at least once. u_u

Good lord my roommate though! He's normally a bad cook even at boxed meals. One morning I come home with the oven door open and still TURNED ON. Thank God he turned off the deep fryer though cause sitting in it was burnt eggs. It looked like he was trying to scramble them inside the fryer xD;;;

Could have lost the apartment.

EDIT: He's a bad cook but I forgot to mention that in this instance he was high. lol

@Kilala: I was upset...but sadly stupid stuff like this became common occurrence. $1000 in apartment damages when I moved out. $300 is porn charges via time warner cable, and $200 stolen by one of his "friends" that I later threatened. The list is long. It was a stressful and costly 6 month roommate u_u

cooking high is difficult with a lack of focus, memory, and also it's hard to read. But reading is partially focus too. So I only cooked things I'd done before.

I just had a cooking disaster this weekend. I tried to make a raspberry cobbler and the raspberries were frozen but when thawed had too much liquid. So it wicked up the cobbler bread and made it totally soggy and unedible. Sucked.

Oh you should never allow me in a kitchen. I'm much better now but I cook like my grandfather. He puts everything on high flame and then goes to take a nap. :>

Well I don't run off to nap while I cook. but I've burned my fair share of food. I try not cooking all together. I know the kitchen is not a place for me. Unless you like burned food. Then I am a expert cook with high degrees in that area. :3

I honestly don't know if there's been a time where I've made something so horrible I couldn't eat it. Whenever I look for new recipes I always alter them quite a bit and they usually turn out pretty good. I mean of course there's been a few times where it was something edible but not necessarily anything I'd ever want to eat again, but still!

OH. Except one time I tried to make tortilla chips and I wasn't looking when I was shopping and I grabbed gluten free diet tortillas and it was honestly the worst experience of my life. It was like eating a tire.

I never really had a cooking disaster, but one time, my mom made chicken that was like rubber coming out of the oven. We have no idea how she did it.
