As DK already said, there's nothing wrong with someone not following popular culture in countries they don't live in or near. In my case I don't even follow my own countries popular culture. So its not that I just don't know, there are things I choose not to know. I am too lazy to follow a bunch of people or one particular person. If you started talking to me about actors or singers I'd draw a blank except for a select few people because I don't pay attention to their names. It's just how I am.

And just because he has fans across the world doesn't make him a world wide sensation. His american and euro fan base is pretty small compared world wide stars like Micheal Jackson.

When Gackt passes away, it won't have a mass effect like Jackson's death did. I love Gackt and his music, but just because he has some fans here and there doesn't make him world wide. Hardly anyone in america knew that he was being called a rapist, or that he was being investigated for fraud during that Earthquake and Tsunami. He isn't 'sensational' enough for that shit to hit US news. Yet when Jackson was accused of child molestation the WHOLE world knew about it. THAT is being a WORLD WIDE star.

I just had a really terrible taco salad >->,

They pretty much cooked meat put it on lettus and tomatos and sent it to us.

They didn't season the meat at all.. except for lightly burning it =/

a taco salad is where you put TACO meat on top of lettus, tomato, and taco shells.. with cheese sprinkled over top 3:< TACO meat = meat thats been cooked with taco seasoning >^<
