Thalion frowned a little listening to this whole lot before he walked over and moved a hand to the back side of Raden's head. "Either way he still is a superior to you and you should mind your tongue... before you bite it off." He said his eyes narrowing a little. Raden looked away from the both of them. Though it would seem Thalion had more pull with this young lad then anyone.

"aside from that Mizuki teaches the magic bearers of our camp.. or he use to, though im sure after a few days he'll start it again." Raden seemed to look at Thalion again as he started to open his mouth to voice a concern. "we all have past mistakes we can't take back, if you recall I killed the first general of the Western army." He said it so causally it was almost scary.

Raden seemed to shut up a little now that Thalion had sprung that on his out of no where. Though he did look towards Mizuki almost having a saddened look on his face before he moved and leaned against the wall he was near. Almost at that same time Neimi seemed to walk in the door as he waved to everyone before speaking a little more cheerfully then when she was last with Mizuki.

"Geese this is getting to be a crowded little house!" She whined a little, though Thalion disagreed with her seeing as there were two bedrooms and a spare and then the area he kept his bed in, sure he could use the spare room but he had liked his set up from before.

Mizuki sat there in silence. 'No matter what I do...that name will always fallow me' Mizuki thought to himself as he looked down at him hands. The hands before him were gentle looking though he knew the magics that come from them. Mizuki looked up and saw the male across the way glare at him. Thats just great. Mizuki couldnt take it. Standing he walked over and grabbed his cloak before walking out the door.

Mizuki didnt care that all the eyes were on him as he simply said nothing and left, he did care at all. Walking out of the house and part ways down the walk he heard his name on Thalions lips and he turned to see the other male walking out to him Mizuki spoke "Stop..." He said slightly glad the male listened probably more from shock then anything.

"I realize that it has been over a year and alot has changed" He said slightly turning his head away from the male "I....just need to clear my head" He said softly his ears flattening with the words of the young male still fresh on his mind "I will be back' He said slightly and walked away slowly giving the male the chance to fallow if wanted.

Thalion sighed heavily before he looked from the door to the food he was still in the middle of fixing. As if he didn't have enough to deal with. Neimi seemed to read him a little as she walked over still with a normal smile and nudged him. "I can cover this, I promise I won't burn it.. too much." She stuck her tongue out a little knowing she was a dreadfully bad cook.

He nodded a little before he moved and walked past Raden and out the door to go fetch Mizuki before he changed his mind on returning. Though once Thalion was gone Neimi frowned at Raden, the boy seemed confused what the sudden expression was for. "You should know better then anyone that people can change! Whatever you said you should tell him sorry when they return." Raden blinked a little how did she knew he said anything? Sure she was a few years older then him but still.

Thalion walked quickly and it took little to no time for him to catch up to Mizuki. "Hey!.. Look I didn't know he was going to pull a stunt like that.. It took him a while to even accept the fact that I saved him. You know he's got Eastern blood in his veins, he's not from any of the villages or clans that use to be around these areas.." He sighed a little before he took a few more steps forward. "he just needs to get use to you.. he's not a bad kid, he's just dealt with a few more things then one should at his age."

he never mentioned anything further then that, or the situation he rescued the boy from. The story that he was walking by himself was true enough but there was more to it then that.

Mizuki stopped in his tracks before he gave a deep sigh "I understand that Thalion I do" He said looking to the male then with sad eyes "But the fact of the matter is I wanted nothing more then to come home and have it be just that" He said to him "But to come home to a comment like that" He said slightly "It stung Thal..." He said slightly hanging his head. "Is there no one in this world that dosent know me by that title alone?" He asked almost heart brokenly.

Mizuki then looked back up to Thalion with a harder expression "I quess thats just who I am...The ruthless leader of the east" He said in a little hiss. Mizuki was irritated not angery atthe situation at hand. He was not sure how to really take everything.

He frowned a little before walking forward and grabbing Mizuki by his collar. His ears went back as he nearly growled out his words. "How dare you even say that. 'there no one that doesn't know me by that title' don't give me that crap. Why the hell do you think I was happy to find out that your alive?" He released him after a moment but he was hardly done with him. "don't you go and say that's who you are, we all change damn it, hell if that's the case then the Western army is being lead by a bandit lord!" He breathed out still glaring a little.

"Your not even with the East anymore, you haven't been for years, so what we have new members. They'll have to learn that your part of our clan sooner or later and they'll have to deal with it or deal with me one or the other." He hated it when Mizuki started to talk like this, like he had lost everything that was ever important to him, like he had no future hope in the world.

Mizuki sighed and looked away as the male pulled on his collar. Soon he was let go and Mizuki stepped back listening to the male rant before him. When Mizuki knew that Thalion was done he spoke "I know you love me Thalion. And I also know that you and Neimi see past it...but" He said slightly "It still pains me" He said slightly his head turned "No matter what I do the only thing that ties my name to this world is that title' He said again.

Mizuki was saddened and irriated at the comment. This young male just managed to get under his skin. At that Mizuki sighed and stepped forward resting his head on Thalions shoulder "Everything and everyone changes" He said slightly before stepping back "Thats the one thing that scares me" He said before turning his head and looking away. "Some times...we dont always change for the better" With that he walked away leaving a dumbfounded Thalion behind him.

Mizuki needed to clear his head. He needed to do something anything to get the males comment out of his head. So what did he do? He went and sat in the middle of what seemed to be a training ground. Taking his chrystal off of his neck Mizuki held it in his hand and hummed slightly.

As he hummed little sparks of fire began to pop up around him. Soon little flame images took place. It was a battle scene of wolves. Two different sides ripping and biting one another, tearing and clawing. It was a sight to see. Mizukis mind was in turmoil and the battle that took place aorund him in the darkness was his thoughts.

He let Mizuki walk way this time, he was right after all. Not all changes were for the best. Hell Thalion wasn't even sure if he had changed for the better, sure there had been less casualties, but at the same time was that better? They'd have to strike eventually or the war would ever end and he knew it.

He started to walk towards home again to make sure Neimi didn't burn the place down. Once he entered both Neimi and Raden looked at him. Though he seemed a little defeated at the moment. "He'll be back, eventually." He spoke flatly before going over to check Neimi's handy work.

"Neimi...." She looked at him "you really need to learn out to cook..." She seemed a little confused. "All i was cooking was rice how did you manage to mess that up?" He laughed weakly before going about to clean the charred remains from the pot so he could work on retrying this step again.

Raden seemed a little different as well, then again Neimi had given him the talking to of a life time. If Thalion was so damn tired from the days work then he'd probably have done the same.

Mizuki staid where he was for a good moment or two before he stood once more the flames disapearing in puffs of smoke. Placing the crystal around his neck Mizuki began the walk home. Or the place where he thought home was. Mizukis mind was still all over the place and he didnt know what to think on alot of things.

Walking back the way he came Mizuki stopped and looked at the dark house the only light now was the small flicker of a candle by the window. He sighed and walked forward. Reaching a hand out he opened the door before walking inside clsoing it behind him. That is when he looked up and saw Thalion sitting on the couch looking at him. Mizuki didnt speak.

He sighed a little seeing that Mizuki seemed to still be bothered from earlier. There was nothing he could say or do to fix it either and he knew this. He had tried before in the past, he hated it. After a few moments of silence he finally did speak making a motion towards the kitchen. "there's some left, you haven't eaten since you got here.."

Mizuki seemed to still say nothing. The silence was killing him, at least when Raden and Neimi were awake there was some sort of noise or communion going on. He refrained from saying anything further as he moved a little to let another sigh out as he stayed on the couch. Things were going well, why couldn't he get a break just a small one.

Mizuki stood there a moment before he wlked into the room. Placing his staff to lean up on the wall Mizuki took off his cloak then walked over to the couch where the male sat. Mizuki was almost hessitent in his movements. He then sat down beside Thalion before he moved and rested his head on the other males lap.

Mizuki sighed as he placed his feet on the seat beside him before he turned onto his back and layed there looking up to the male. Mizuki did not know what to say or even if he should say anything for that matter. So all he did was lay there and looked up to the male above him.

Thalion just sat there and peered down at him. He did not move and nor did he say anything. Mizuki was not sure if he should move and sit up so he no longer laid upon the male or if he should start yelling some angered words or weep into the males stomach. But when he still got no words from the male his ears flattened a little and he went to sit up "Things do change..." Was all he said as he sat up.

Mizuki was going to leave. Head for the spare room the other had spoke of before though he was not sure if he was allowed to use it or not. Mizuki growled at himself for that thought "I...will stay in the spare room" Mizuki said slightly "So...you can rest normaly" With that Mizuki stood and walked to the spare room leaving an almost hurt and angered Thalion behind him.

It was a rather awkward silence, both sides said nothing. Hell Mizuki seemed to act like he shouldn't be touching Thalion at all. He wasn't sure what to do or say to fix this, it was getting to him slowly. Everything had been fucking perfect till one comment. Though he couldn't hold it against Raden really, not with his past that he knew about. But seeing Mizuki act this way pained him, even if he didn't openly show it. To know the one he loved was being torn from the thoughts in his mind to the point he acted like this hurt more then anything. It also made Thalion realize that he couldn't do anything about it, a inability to help the one person he cared about.

When Mizuki finally spoke he looked at him, confused why he choose to say such words and only those words. Though his question was soon answered as Mizuki moved and stood up the couch. His lover seemed to speak yet again, but the next things to cross his lips were more painful then he could have imagined. The idea that Mizuki pretty much just told him he wasn't going to sleep with him hurt. That was the only thing Thalion had was the idea that he'd at least be able to help the other sleep. Even that was now ripped from him.

As Mizuki started walking away Thalion sat there, what was he suppose to do. Mizuki was never one to change his mind. His ears dropped for a short moment in his sudden realization of being weak, the fact he couldn't help no matter what he said or did. Even after all these years it hadn't changed he still had no true power to save the one thing he thought precious in his life.

Before Mizuki disappeared into the spear room he stood finally his ears back showing his temper had finally won over his mind and his eyes were narrow and cold. "Do what you want.." he said in a unemotional tone before he moved and walked out of the door leaving the building it's self behind. Like hell he was going to stay around with his thoughts like this, his mind wouldn't have let him sleep anyway even if he had wanted to.

Instead he walked to the training grounds, he had no idea what he'd do there but he needed some form of release on his current anger before he took it out on Mizuki. His mind was going back and forth, he was weak even through everything over the past year he couldn't do anything. Nothing had truly changed.

With these thoughts fueling him he had decided on a bit of archery practice, not that he needed it but you could release a good amount of energy with it in a short amount of time. His eyes were still cold and his mind was drawing a blank as to what to do about this, nothing was crossing his mind aside from how deep he wanted the arrow to embed it's self into the target before him.

He had a bow already and cocked as he waited a slip second before releasing the build up pressure from the weapon and listened for the sound as it struck true to it's target. He had already reloaded the weapon by the time the sound rang out, if this was on the battlefield he would have done so faster then this probably taking out at least 4-5 enemies by this time without a second thought.

He went about doing this a few more times before he stopped and just stood there with the next loaded arrow. The bow was ready for release and the mark was set already, but he didn't fire. Instead he was letting the pressure build up on the weapon as he went over his thoughts. What good was he if he couldn't keep the ones he cared about happy? He never saw it till now but maybe Mizuki was better off with the Eastern army, would everything have been better if he had been killed over two years ago? Sure the West would have probably fallen but what chance did they really stand against the East.. number wise it was over five to one, it was asking a bloody miracle.

Through all of this he ignored the fact his magic started to flick out against him again, though this time it directed it's self to the arrowhead. He was too deep in thought to worry or care about it, though it had happened once before during Mizuki's absence, before he decided it was no good for him to show emotions once again. Apparently he had been right at that time, he had let himself open up and this happened. His expression changed a little still in his thoughts as he seemed to drop any signs he was thinking or in pain by the thoughts in his mind, instead it was just a blank expression. One that he had when Mizuki first came here today, he wasn't going to open up again, he couldn't afford to have distractions anyway, he had units to train and others to look after without having to worry about one person.

It was this very train of thought Neimi feared the most, he had fallen into it for most of the year and nothing anyone said mattered unless it had to do with the safety of the resistance.

Mizuki stood there shocked as the other spoke and let. Maybe Neimi was right about Thalion. Had the male he once loved really change that much? Mizuki didnt know what to think as he entered the room and looked about it. Picking a spot on the wall he sunk down in a heap before he brought his knees to his chest and rested a sore and weery head ontop of them. What was he to do?

Mizuki sat there and thought. Everything was so different. The troops were moved, new troops came and went but the biggest change of all was Thalion. The male he had fallen in love with was now...he didnt know what. Closed off, emotionless, hurt, angered...all of the above. Mizuki growled before he stood. This was far from over!

Leaving the house Mizuki went in search of Thalion. When he found the male he was standing there arrow loaded tip of it aflame as he let it fly through the air to hit the target infront of him. Walking a little closer Mizuki said something that he hopped would get the males attention before him "Wishing that target was me huh..." He said slightly crossing his arms.

Mizuki was angry. It had been over a year and the male before him was closed off and cold like the first day he met him some almost three years back "I...I should stayed away" Mizuki said slightly before looking to Thalion "You would of been happier thinking I was dead"

He lowered the weapon after the arrow had hit the target dead center. His eyes were still narrowed as he looked towards Mizuki. "Sometimes yes" He spoke coldly to Mizuki's comment of him wishing the target was Mizuki. Though a few moments later he moved back into his stance again and reloaded a arrow onto the bow before taking aim and firing yet again. He never said a word if this was one of those times or not.

Of course he had reverted back if not to a worse state then what he was in before, he had lost everything in the matter of a few months after Mizuki left. Their home, the one he cared deeply for, hell he had lost the general and then half of the troops he had grown close to over the years. Neimi was right he had changed, hell he even knew he had but there was nothing to be done about it now. Though he had tried to hold everything together it was easier to just cut off emotions and be the ass he was over 3 years ago.

"You wrong" He said rather bluntly before releasing yet another arrow and reloading the weapon almost at the same time he had fired it. "I wasn't happy thinking you were dead.. " He thought about it for a moment before lowering the weapon a second. "hell I wasn't happy period.. I was when I found out that you were alive and that you were here, give or take safe aside from a shoulder wound.. " He moved again and re-positioned his weapon to fire at a different target that was a bit further away. "but as you started things change.. your right on that, everything does change for the better or worse and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it."

"your probably stupid enough to think that I should have killed you all those years back now and things would be fucking peachy." He laughed a little before firing the arrow, though this time he didn't reload it. "you might be right, then again you might be wrong." He shrugged a little. "I could have died a few years ago easily, hell you made sure that was a possibility when I was captured. But I didn't, a lot of times I think I should have. The only thing I've done is delayed the facts of the situation we're in, the West is outnumbered at least 5 to one, that's at least and most of our troops are too green to be able to stand against such odds so you might as well bump the number to about ten against one for the seasoned fighters."

He seemed to sigh heavily though it was very apparent his temper was on the verge of flaring up again. In truth he wouldn't have been happier if Mizuki never came around or never came back, he had to admit before he had any dealings with Mizuki he might have put forward a front that he was content with life but everyday he prayed for that one battle that would bring him the end he sought. To be honest he was back to those thoughts, and he knew of only a few places to get that very battle.

Mizuki stood there and looked to the male infront of him as he ranted and raved only some of his speech registered in Mizukis mind. Like the fact that sometimes it was him Thalion aimed at. And frankly Mizuki knew why. Though with the thoughts of that came more of Thalions words sinking into his head though on how he was happy that he was home.

Mizuki was confused. If the male was happy that he was home then why not show it to him? Instead of getting pissy and making everything so out of place. Mizuki sighed as he lowered his head and growled as his hands bunched into fits. Raising his head he stormed over to the male.

Grabbing the bow with his left hand Mizuki forced it from Thalions until his open palm struck the male on his right cheek slapping him. The resounding smack the only sound "You think its all about you" Mizuki said in a growl "Just because something happens and the odds are stacked against you everythings hopeless" Mizuki said angerly.

"Didnt you ever bother asking me the help I could bring?" He said slightly "No, all you think about is the fact that I used to be the general of the east. Thats the only thought in your head, that if I was never here everything would be different" He said in a growl before looking to the male with hurt and tear filled eyes.

He didn't seem phased at all by the sudden slap, he saw it coming really, Mizuki was always one to strike first when he was angry. "Damn it I know it's not about me!, If it were it'd be easy be damned with my life it's worthless. The only thing I have to do is keep the troops motivated and to feed them whatever lines they need to know they can over look the odds."

He watched Mizuki, what did he care what had brought him to care about this person he needed to find it again and he knew it but that was easier said then done. "Till the other day I didn't have that option now did i?! I couldn't just think your alive and pray you'd be back before the East decided to track us down and destroy the last safe place we have in these lands."

He growled a little with his words before moving to walk away from Mizuki a few steps. "you've been gone a year, did your really think I would think your still alive? Hell i had no idea of how or where to even start looking to find out if you were or not. So the idea that you could help wasn't a option.. I needed to rely on what we had here." He spoke the truth at the least even if it was a little bit of a cold one. What else could he do, to say Mizuki would return was always on his mind, but after a while the thoughts had to go away they were causing him to be distracted and that was the last time he needed.

[Pinkie]

Mizuki stood there and listened to the male before him. What he gathered then..."So...your love is gone" Mizuki said lightly his head hanging "A year had past and everyday I thought of you" Mizuki said "But...the thoughts were not returned" He said sadly before standing ridgidly. "If thats how it is then things really do change" Mizuki said.

Mizuki then turned away from Thalion before he spoke again "My last gift to you Thalion is this" Mizuki said "When I was gone I met up with my old master" Mizuki said "I talked with him for a day on everything. From the day that I captured you till the day I left" Mizuki said bowing his head a little.

"My master has always been there for me" Mizuki said "When I was finished with my story he smiled to me and said 'Dear boy, not everything in the bottem of a well is black'...and then proceeded to tell me that every magic weilder under his arms and teachings will join us" He said "On the third day of my return" Mizuki said before walking away "Be prepaired...thats some...200 or so magic users at your desposal"

Mizuki then left Thalion there. If the male no longer had feeling for him there was no point in staying. Even though with every step he took Mizukis heart cracked a little more he kept walking.
