Madaes nodded a little listening to her "well be grateful that he cares even, there was a time he would have just let things go as they were without a second though." He shrugged a little. "Besides he has a right doesn't he?" He grinned a little before explaining himself. "Unless I'm mistaken." He had to laugh a little knowing that was prying a little but it was something that he'd never get from Rhyldrin that was certain.
He sighed a little though at her words of the winter months. "it'll slow things down for sure.. we're not that close to the capital anymore and the winter can get rather harsh in these parts. The orcs and humans may be use to it but our sides are not." He frowned a little "plus we'll here more then a few complains by our Rhyldrin at how much he hates the cold weather." He laughed slightly though it was cut off as Rhyldrin seemed to track them down once more, hearing the last bit of the conversation. "Tsk it's not the weather I care about... snow makes my job difficult." He had a point though, it was hard to follow a target when everything was covered in snow, noises traveled further as well in such conditions and it didn't help matters. "Either way we need to hurry before the tables are turned and we have no allies left." He never mentioned a word on fighting orcs, though he viewed them like any other foe. It wasn't immortal and could be killed with a blade in the right spot. He had to smirk a little knowing she was useless at the present time, though he had already noticed her lack of a weapon from before. "Hardly a issue" Madaes had already followed Kane into the fray of the fight ahead of them, but between the two they could handle themselves. He handed her what seemed to be a short bow before complaining about it. "The craftsmanship of it is poor but it's all I came across, apparently archers are rare in this fight." He didn't let her protest it was better then no weapon at all and it kept her at a safer distance then giving her a melee weapon. It took little to no time for him to catch up to Madaes and Kane quickly taking care of a human that had made it's way behind the two mages. "Tsk damn humans.. trying to play at being a rogue... it's almost a pity to kill them."

Judith was certainly concerned about the upcoming Winter months, she dreaded the day that it would begin to snow. Madaes was right, snow was a foreign thing to the Elves. It would be a disadvantage to their side and more of an disadvantage to those who crept quietly from place to place. With the snow their footsteps would be left everywhere, a single move could alert the enemy to their presence. It was about the same when Fall came around, the leaves always became an annoyance. Being an archer Judith would have to be more careful now seeing as she would be one to stay behind while the others would go forward or if she was off on her own she would hide waiting for the enemy to come along. It made her feel incredibly nervous thinking about it. A nervous laugh escaped from her when Madaes told her that Rhyldrin hated the cold. Judith did not mind it if it did not put her at a disadvantage, she had seen snow before though it was rare for the Capital to get much of it. "That's alright," she said then threw her shoulders back in a shrug. "If he has a problem keeping himself warm then I can help." a smile crept across her face, she looked over at Rhyldrin and held back another laugh. Judith nodded slightly she hoped that the snow would not cause too much trouble for Rhyldrin. Despite not wanting to worry too much about him this problem made her worry even more so. Judith watched as Madaes and Kane began to assist in the struggle, she brought her eyes back to Rhyldrin as he spoke to her. "Oh," was all she could manage to stutter before he took off to join the other two. "If it can be used then it is good enough." she said though she doubted that he had heard. She examined the bow that she had been given by him for a moment before drawing an arrow from her pouch. I wish that mine had not broken, I need to start being cautious, she breathed out a quiet sigh. She lifted the weapon, then drew back the arrow, Judith held her breath then let go.

With the assistance of the new members of this group the orcs an humans both were easily disposed of, though one of them seemed to be the leader that they were searching for. Madaes breathed out a little with Kane next to him having the human cornered finally. The man tried to flee the battle to avoid being captured it seemed but that couldn't be allowed.
"Why did your people attack!? I know the elves don't get along with all races but we never asked for a attack either of the two sides." He seemed a little furious even for Madaes who was normally rather collected. The man seemed to refuse to speak saying it was time the elves were put into their place. And that was back as being slaves to the orcs and humans. Madaes was about to growl out something else but Kane seemed to hold him back saying it wasn't going to help matters. Rhyldrin had vanished in the midst of all of this commotion though he seemed to be walking back towards the group with what seemed to be a captive at blade point. "Yelling might not help but I think this will." He sounded like he was warning the human more then anyone. The males face seemed to turn white seeing the female that was caught. "Release her!" He growled about to move forward but thought better of it knowing well that the blades would be faster then his feet could travel. "She'll be released after you give us a better answer.. stop trying to cover up the true motive to this fight." Rhlydrin might not be part of the official military branch of the kingdoms but he could certain pass for it, though he hardly seemed pleased with having a captive as a bribe. The man seemed to refuse for a moment longer before caving, apparently this girl who seemed to be a good few years younger then him, meant something to him. "We were paid to do so, some traveler from overseas came to both the human and orc camps saying if we banded together we could over throw the elves, he gave us any information we needed, the months to attack any weapons your kinds used." He sighed heavily before speaking again. "sadly I do not know what race he was other then he had blood red eyes that seemed to glow as he spoke, the hood he wore stayed up." He looked back towards the captive girl who seemed terrified. "Thats all i know! now release her!" Rhyldrin seemed to thinking over the information looking towards Madaes who was already trying to pin point red eyes, aside from drows and a few other local races. Though he did as he promised pushing the girl forward with his hand once he put a blade away having already cut the rope at some point. "Call off the attack then.. " He said once the girl seemed to cling to the man before them. "we have a bigger enemy to deal with here if he's threatening other races from a distant land..." He looked back towards the two humans before grinning a little. "Also if you don't i'll ensure she dies and that you find her corpse." It was a bit of a harsh thing to say, by this point it was easy to tell this girl was the man's daughter and possibly his only remaining family, though it was a threat that had to be made.

By the end of the struggle Judith surprisingly still had a few arrows left in her pouch. She had expected to use the rest on them. Thankfully none of the enemies had decided to approach her, she kept a safe distance and was easily able to pick off a good amount of them. With her talents with the bow she was also able to avoid accidentally striking any of her allies. As she approached the others it appeared that they had been even more successful than she had originally thought. The leader was here, she kept quiet in his presence preparing herself for another struggle. It would be much more difficult with the little arrows that she had now. Though it became clear that there would not be another struggle. Judith watched as Rhyldrin held a young girl captive in order to pry information from the leader of this attack. She watched nervously hoping that the man before them would spit up any information that he had. If he didn't then she knew damn well that they would have to capture the man then attempt to pry information from him that way. What the hell? Judith kept herself from speaking as she listened to the man speak. It was almost unbelievable what he was telling them, was any of it really true? If it was then this was a much bigger problem than they had thought. Who was the one that had convinced the Orcs and humans to go to war against the Elves? Her eyes shifted to Madaes, Kane then she looked up almost helplessly at Rhyldrin. "What are we to do now with this new information?"

He seemed a little cross before he put the second blade away. "the only thing we can do we need to get the rulers of the beings of this land together.. I know a truce is hardly something to trust but if we have something across the seas tying to rip these lands apart then I think we have something bigger to deal with then any pity arguments the races have had in the past." Madaes nodded a little agreeing with him before he looked towards Judith and Kane. "One of you should pass this information to the king an somehow get the word across this war is over...."
The man sighed a little looking at the girl who he had scolded slightly as to why she was out here. "'ll pass word to the orcs and humans, also I agree to the terms of a truce... our races may have differences but this is still our home and yours as well.. " Madaes sighed a little "well tat leaves me to pass the news to the queen, forces will be prepared will begin right away but for now we don't know the foe nor when they will strike..." Rhyldrin seemed to have a thought on that as he spoke. "We should send word to our northern bound kin.. they have more dealings with beasts from across the sea then we do.. they might have further information. Some of the dragonkin also agreed they would assist in getting the word around, it was faster by the air anyway. Also they could call upon the help of the few beast tribes their kind spoke with. Though the cat people, and the hawks would have to dealt with still.

"I will be the one to tell King Bryon of this news, he will be pleasantly surprised that we no longer have to deal with the Orcs and humans. Though... it seems that good news comes with bad news all the time now." Judith looked up at Kane as he spoke, it was rather surprising that he had decided to take on such an important task and that he was speaking without a single stutter. "It will be good though to have a truce, King Bryon has never turned away from a truce or thought poorly of one." Kane managed to smile though it was a rather weak one. He was sore and tired from the past few days of conflict though he would push himself to deliver the news. "I'll go with you," Judith finally spoke, Kane looked down at her with a smile. It was much better for him to travel with company than to travel alone. Especially considering the current conflict, it would be better if he had her with him if they came across a problem or a few problems. "It would be better if you had company. I need no rest, we can go as soon as you would like to." Kane nodded then looked up at the man with his daughter. Though he held back any comments. There was no need to make the man feel more guilty of his actions, Kane hoped that he had learned his lesson. Everyone was a target in the war. Judith's ears fell a little as she looked back up at Rhyldrin, she wondered how long it would be until she saw him again. Though she had to push away any emotions that were threatening to explode. She had gotten better at controlling herself, she had to if she wanted to make herself stronger. "I wish you luck with your journey to the Dark Elf Capital, please be safe." she smiled weakly at him. Then she left with Kane.

After Kane and Judith left Madaes shrugged a little. "well shall we?. Rhyldrin nodded a little as they both bowed slightly to the man before them. Though Rhyldrin stopped a moment before he spoke. "You should scold her, for her age she was doing well in her plan." With that he started walking again to catch up to Madaes.
Word spread rather quickly of the lands needing a truce, most of the kingdoms agreed to them without a second thought. The others were looking into this said threat. The few that remained to decide on if they would follow or not were unsure this threat was real or not, but only time would tell on that. Over the next few weeks Madaes had kept Rhyldrin busy, he knew between the two of them they were a force to be dealt with, and it was needed to pass the word to the different smaller branches of the dark elves in the surrounding areas. Probably a month passed before word got around that the queen had the word of all of her clans that they would follow her order. The dark elves also went about deal with the hawk and raven beast men clans.. hey were neighbors to them but the two races never did really get along till now. The two were walking down a path finally getting to the point of returning back towards their home capital. "If i never have to travel again in my life it'll be too soon." Madaes complained before a heavy breath. Rhyldrin had to smirk a little."You just want to get back home to your wife.. you don't have to lie." Madaes snorted slightly before having his comeback. "like theres no one you want to get back to? Pff when are you marrying that girl anyway?" Rhyldrin seemed to glare at Madaes for that question before his growled a little "not your concern..." Hell he had been waiting for the right time but when was that even.. with things now he wasn't sure he' even be around long enough to do such a thing.

By the time Kane and Judith had reached the Light Elf Capital Bryon had already heard quite a bit about the truce. It didn't take long for word to get out. Which was not surprising considering how much of a change the news would make. After a rather brief meeting with Bryon they were excused and given permission spend time with their family. Judith took this opportunity to spend time with her father, she had heard that he had become ill shortly after she left for the war. Kane left the Light Elf Capital to return to the small village that he had been raised in, his family greeted him with great enthusiasm. He planned to return to the Light Elf Capital after spending a few weeks in the village. During the time that she spent in the Light Elf Capital Judith's father gradually became better. She suspected that one of the reasons for him suddenly becoming so ill was that she had left for the war. She knew that she was the only one that he had left and could understand that the stress of knowing that would eventually take it's tole. When she had first entered her home he held her so tightly that she almost could not breath. Though he could not hold her for very long at the time, he had grown rather weak during Judith's absence. Every day he remained in bed to rest. Despite the announcement of the truce between the Elves, Orks and humans there was still a great amount of tension within the Light Elf Capital. Bryon has tried very hard to keep word of the new threat from spreading though it did not take long for rumours to begin. Then those rumours turned out to be actual fact. He had not wanted others to know yet until it was a confirmed threat, though now it was a little too late for that. He tried to keep himself calm and tried his best to assure his people that all would be well. However that did not seem to work as well as it usually did, everyone had grown tired of the constant conflicts. They wondered if they would ever end. It was a rather sunny, warm Fall day. Judith wandered out from her home after helping her father with a few things, she would do what she had been doing for the past few weeks. The garden needed to be tended to and a few other things. She hummed peacefully to herself as she prepared the land for new crops next Spring and she plucked the ones that had withered out from the ground.

After a while the two came to a sort of cross roads, one way leading towards the dark elf capital while the other the light elf. "So we part ways here?" Madaes questioned Rhyldrin knowing he'd probably get no answer, though he did get a one word reply of yep for a change. Madaes laughed a little. "don't push yourself, remember we've been traveling for days, I don't want to get any news that a dark elf fainted in the capital."
He waved off the last comment, he wasn't forcing himself too hard. He just wanted to see someone. Being over a month yet again and he had only briefly seen her before. Besides there was a sort of calm even among the rumors and talk of a future war, he wanted to spend his time around her in the case something did happen. After a few more hours of walking and finally making it to the capital he let out a sort of sigh of relief, it was funny really he hardly went to the dark elf capital anymore. But he had no reason to go, no family aside from Madaes but he saw enough of him in the past few weeks he was sick of him. Once he came to the house he was looking for he had to check if Judith was outside or not, if so this made it easier. And he could avoid her father even if they were sort of on good terms. As his luck had it she was outside from the looks of it tending to the garden there. He half didn't want to disturb her with her humming, but that thought quickly left. Silently he cleared the fence and walked towards where she was. For his plan he was deserving a slap and he knew it but he was going to do it anyway. He grabbed her and forced her to turn around before kissing her gently keeping her close to him. She'd yell at him for scaring her and probably a few other things but he didn't care at the moment it was worth it.

Judith jumped from the sudden touch, though she settled down once she realised who it was. At first all she wanted to do was scold Rhyldrin for sneaking up on her like that, this was certainly not the first or even second time that he had done this to her. She had warned him not to do it again and had given him a good smack every time he did this. Though when his lips touched hers she melted into his arms instantly. Judith brought her left hand to his hand, she ran her fingers up from his hand to his shoulder then to the back of his head. Her fingers curled around a few strands of his hair, she began to play with his hair. Her right hand travelled up from his stomach to his other shoulder then rested there. She pulled away from the kiss, her eyes fluttered open and she watched him for a moment before she finally spoke. "I hate it when you do that..." she mumbled quietly, she pulled on his hair roughly. "I hate it when you sneak up on my like that, then you kiss me? That isn't fair!" though she tried to seem upset with him she could not stop herself from smiling. It had been so long since she had last seen Rhyldrin, all of this time spent apart was unbearable. "I should be mad at you right now, you're lucky that I'm not. These gardening tools can be used as weapons, you should watch yourself next time!" she hissed playfully. Her eyes closed slowly, her lips lingered close to his. "I should give you a good smack but I won't this time, I like being so close to you again..." color came to her face though it was barely noticeable. "It's been too long, how long are you staying here for?" Judith pressed her lips against his before he could answer her, at first the kiss was soft then it became hard. She pulled away slowly then breathed out heavily.

He smirked a little even with her trying to scold him. "I know you do." He said just as calmly as ever though he did flinch a little when she tugged on his hair. "Heh... well a lot of things aren't fair. Besides how would you react if I greeted you normally?" He seemed to shrug a little knowing he had a little bit of a point, she'd probably think something was wrong with him.
He held his hands up knowing she was right on the tools part. "I think i can handle myself against gardening tools." He smirked a little before speaking again. "Though I am glad your not mad, I'd never live with myself if you were." So it did sound like he was being a little bit of a smart ass but he wasn't really. He was about to say something but she cut him off with the sudden kiss, not that he minded. Once she removed her lips he moved a little to give her a short light kiss before speaking. "Until the war starts it seems, taking a break from contracts." He smirked a little knowing that till things got out of hand then he could try to spend time with her, though he didn't have a need to do contracts anyway.

Judith allowed herself to melt in his arms for a brief moment as she listened to him speak, her eyes fluttered close and she felt as if she could never get enough of his touch. Feeling Rhyldrin hold her once again, feeling him kiss her like he always did was overwhelming. When he was gone she missed him terribly, she sometimes ached during his absence. "If that's the case then I hope that the war will never start," she hissed quietly. "All of this nonsense is starting to make me grow weary." a sigh escaped from her lips, she opened her eyes then looked up at him. "When this is all over we can finally be together, we won't have to worry anymore. I swear, my hair is going to fall out soon from all of this!" a laugh managed to escape from her. Judith fell silent for a brief moment, it didn't take long for her to have more to say. "You must be exhausted, if you plan to stay in the Capital for a few nights then you are welcome to stay in my home. I don't think..." she paused for a moment, a smile crept onto her face. "I don't think that my father would mind, it's odd actually. He asked about you, it was almost..." she paused to think of the perfect word. "Cute?" she giggled quietly. "He wanted to know if I would see you after I returned home, I think that he likes you."

He nodded a little with a heavy sigh thinking about it. "To be honest ... I don't want this one to take place. I have a bad feeling about this one." Though he didn't go into further details on this it was a true enough fact that this was the largest war these lands had seen. Let alone the fact that there were almost all of the races binding together to go against whatever was threatening the lands. Though he smiled a little listening to her talk about her hair. "Your hair will be fine." He shook his head a little finding it funny. "Out of all of the things to worry bout."
Though what she said next he had to look at her oddly over, it wasn't a offer he was expecting. "Heh not sure if that's a good or bad thing that a light elf likes my company.. last time that happened I was nearly killed.." It was more of a good thing then anything he had feared the man would think twice about thinking it was a good thing for his daughter to be courted by a dark elf. Though that didn't seem to be the case. "Well I will be staying a few days, but i'm not going to intrude on you and your father like that. Even if he likes me." He'd never forgive himself if he did something wrong or said something wrong to annoy her father or make him change his mind, plus it was against his nature to take up on such offers.
