And I have a bunch of comics to read... @.@ My sister spends hundreds of dollars on comics a month and I don't know how she manages to keep up with it. She makes me borrow a stack of 10+ that she wants me to read every week and it just grows and grows...I'm only interested in like half, if that, of what she gives me, and if I had to pay for it myself, it would only be 3-4 a month.

I remember when I was growing up I used to think that when I had a job I would buy a new comic every week. That never happened though.

One comic a week isn't even bad. I would be down for getting Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Starfire, and Spider Gwen every month. But my sister gets like $40 worth of comics every week, sometimes more. It's insane. She ordered a $400 Harley Quinn statue that'll come in December. I don't understand.

Ah I knew somebody like that. He had a bin reserved at the local comic shop that they'd fill up and he'd go get >3> <.< >.>

A whole bin? Dang. The people that run this shop save some things for her, and her holds section is a small box as opposed to the little paper cubby that most people get, but still.

Well, if you have the financial ability to buy all that, and you like it, power to you, I say. Whatever makes you happy is a very important thing.

When I turned 21 and went to my first casino, i had a hard time gambling the money. But then my grandparents said "it's the same as spending money to go to the movies, it's entertainment money." And now I have no problem throwing money at things for a brief moment of entertainment. It's a terrible curse.

Well, as long as you don't over spend on entertainment, it's fine. Healthy, even. :P I buy lotto tickets now and then. Not because I expect to win anything, but because that brief moment of "what if?" is sufficiently thrilling to waste a dollar.

See, I look at entertainment the same way, as, "Oh it's the same as spending money to go to the movies." But...I hate spending money to go to the movies. So I rarely spend money. I'm so stingy. But I buy humble bundles as long as there's one game in it that I want, because usually I can pay less than the full price of the one game and get lots of extras on top of it. So that provides me with plenty of entertainment. :3
