On the avatar edit screen, when you go to select male or female, scroll to the bottom. the empty looking box is the "Baseless" option. Select that, and the avatar body is taken out of the scene.

We have two furry terrorists. One happens to be a ten pound brat who has licked all the fur off of part of his belly and a couple spots on his tail. The other one is a five pound ball of 'tude and clumsiness.

Max is a tuxedo kitty who looks like he has a sneer and is built like a little 12-pound tank.
