He waves bye to Vincent, then shifts gear and drives off to his job. When he gets there he has some paper work to get through with organizing the shipments, which takes him a couple hours. Once he's he starts stocking some of the new items that came in. Several customers ask him questions as he's working, pointing them to what they need or are looking for.

Finally his shift is over and he heads over to the diner that Vincent works at, being seated at a small table. He looks over the menu for something small to eat, not really wanting to get anything too big since they'd be having dinner later after Vincent gets off.

Vincent waves back before going to his job. He wishes he wasn't at the bottom of the totem pole...maybe he wouldn't be so stressed. Sometimes it seems like he's the only one working, but it has to be his imagination. That's the one thing that keeps him going on the bad days at least....and the thought that his shift has to end eventually.

At some point, he ends up, finally, getting off of work and he just heads for Don. "I'm ready if you're ready to go." Part of him really just wants to sleep at the moment, but that will screw up his sleep schedule completely and he knows it.

"Alright then, I'll just leave the money on the counter for what I ordered." Making sure his server sees where he puts the money he leaves enough to cover what he got and a decent tip. "Well, I was thinking of getting some chicken, soft tacos and a few other things for toppings and stuff. This why dinner will be quick and easy for us since its only two of us tonight. And anything left over meat wise I can use for making food for the girls." Unlocking the car he slides in, making sure Vincent buckles up while he's buckling himself up before turning on the car and heading to the store.

Vincent nods a bit. "Plenty of people do that." And if they don't leave enough for the bill, they get the stink eye from there on. "Chicken tacos?" He asks, following after Don to the car, sliding in and buckling up. He's never made chicken tacos. He usually sticks with the tradtional beef tacos, but that's just him.

"Yeah, I figured we could chop it up, fry it up so its a little golden in the pan. Chicken and sour cream is some of the best stuff you can combine together, whether the chicken is dry or not. Some companies even make seasoning packets that go into the sour cream so it can be used as a sauce instead of adding in your own seasoning." He pulls into the parking lot and hops out. Going to the trunk he opens it up and pulls out some reusable cloth bags. Once Vincent closes his door Don locks it up.

"Not to mention I can dice up the tomatoes and onions, maybe a few other things. What do you like on your tacos?"

Vincent nods a bit, his stomach gurgling at the idea. "That sounds really tasty." He says before getting out of the car with don, closing the door. He barely got to eat at work. He was almost tempted to mess up orders to eat. But he doesn't like doing that at all. "Ah...I like cheese. That's the main thing. It needs cheese." He loves cheese.

"Any preference on cheese, like cheddar, mozzarella or just grab a mixed bag for something like pizza?" He leads Vincent to the non-perishable foods first, that way it gives them time to decide on the ones that are perishable and not worry about them spoiling. Grabbing from the shelf and putting in a little hand basket he picked up on the way in he puts the seasoning packets in and the soft taco shells.

"We should probably have something on the side with more veggies in it, how about a casserole? I can make a pretty good broccoli one with cheese."

"Nah, no preference really, just lots of cheese." Vincent says, snorting a bit. He just pads after him. "You want me to carry that?" He asks about the basket. "Does it have rice in it?" He asks about the casserole. A lot of recipes of casseroles have rice in them. And the ones he has made are pretty good.

He grabs a package of mixed cheese that's already shredded, normally he would shred it himself but Vincent looked tired and he figured the faster the food was made the better.

"Oh, sure, if you want to." Holding out the basket to Vincent he lets him take it, picking up bread crumbs as he makes his way down the aisle. "Naw, I use a mix of bread crumbs and fried onion strings. The onion strings are mixed in and the bread crumbs sprinkled on top. I still have some onion strings at home but we're getting a bit low on bread crumbs. If I had of decided about this sooner I would have just made more bread crumbs. Tastes better and a bit healthier too."

Vincent is trying to hide the fact that he's tired, but he's not very good at it obviously. He just takes the basket, padding after Don. "Onions are always good." Though he's never had that kind of casserole with that...usually it's rice, not that he's complaining. "Every time I've needed bread crumbs, I would just toast the bread and break it up." It worked well enough for him at least.

"Well, bread is also something I'll have to get soon, but I need it for work. Not to mention you're probably tired from work and I don't want to keep you up too long since you'll need to rest." He grabs some bread crumbs, grabbing a brand he knows to be decent. "So now to get the toppings, starting with produce. Any preference with your toppings? Like do you like peppers, onions, lettuce or do you want something else to go on top like beans?" Half tempted to take the basket back from Vincent Don leads them to the produce section to look over what's there.

"Ah...okay...just had to suggest it since it is an option..." Vincent shrugs a bit. "I am tired." He says before yawning a bit. "But I can stay awake if needed." Food is more important than sleep right now. "Long as it has cheese, I'll be okay with almost anything else on top." He says, he's not too picky on his food as long as it doesn't look deadly. "What do you normally put on it?" He asks.

"Well, I can just let you take a nap while I get dinner ready then, I can see that you're tired. As for myself I usually put lettuce, tomatoes diced, onions diced, and raw peppers diced on mine with some cheese and sour cream. Anything other than those that you'd like? I already know you have this thing for cheese." He chuckles softly, finding it amusing how Vincent kept talking about cheese.

"Mmm...nap." Yes, Vincent likes that idea. "Naps are the best." And sometimes he doesn't take hours long naps. "Other than more cheese?" He says, chuckling a bit. "Nothing I can think of to tell the truth." He says, shrugging a bit. "And I have a love for cheese. A great love for cheese." Cheese will never hurt him beyond clogging his arteries.

Don chuckles as he grabs the last few things they need and heads over to the registers to pay.

"Does that love for cheese also go for cheesecake or no? Maybe after the test I'll try making one for us if you want. We're both kind of stressing out over that anyways." Grabbing the bags he leads them back to the car, putting the groceries in the trunk.

Vincent just pads after him. "Cheesecake might be better than cheese. Might be, but it technically contains cheese." He doesn't really consider cream cheese as a cheese, but it's called it. "Cheesecake is delicious and to not like it might just be blasphemy." He says, helping him with the groceries.
