I think I agree with the theory that it is the fact that I am on so many sites is the reason I am on-line most of the day.
I have little social life, too.

Interesting, Angel. Well, for me, it's the other way around. I spend a lot of time online so I join a lot of sites... And then I have more motivation to spend time online, it's true, but if I want to be doing something offline, I am past the point of caring if I am missing an event or something on 20 sites... XD. However part of the reason I'm online every day even when I wouldn't be going on sites otherwise is because I count on talking with my friend every night either via e-mail or instant messenger.

I just don't have anything more interesting to do in real life, so I hang out on line.
I sometimes take time out for things I have to do in real life, though.

Mostly I do crafts and watch t.v. and movies and such. Sometimes go for a walk or more often shopping, but it also kind of amounts to going on a walk. I should say that I do live with my parents and my sister and do sometimes go out with them.

I live with my parents, and try to take a walk around the block most days. I also go out with friends, but only watch a little TV. Sometimes I read a book. I'll be doing more reading when I start up my seasonal job. I'll be reading on my breaks.

I read on my breaks right now. I've just read a really good, very strange book called American Gods. Having a Kobo has really helped me to read more. I used to pretty much never read. I started reading a little when I got my phone. But it is even easier with a dedicated e-reader. You'd think it would be for someone who already reads a lot, but... I only read a lot now because I have it. It is more convenient.
I'd like to go out with friends I suppose, but I haven't got any... I'm not really good at making friends who I only know because they are near me... Come Chat With Me?

☆·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.¤ ~♡のⓛⓞⓥⓔ♡~ ¤·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.☆ ❀Well I'm trying to make a hard choice in my life. Two days ago I went on a cleaning binge. I.e. I tossed a bunch of stuff including extra flosses I won't use, combined my flosses in the boxes and tossed every single cross stitch pattern, aida cloth I have in the entire house. I also tossed all my mill seed beads used for it as well. I have my floss itself and needles left. My husband thinks I should keep it for at least two years in case I might want to stitch again but I have had no desire at all to do it for about 5 months now and no interest in it either. I did this before and it took me over 5 years or more to get back into cross stitching again and that even took me a few years to get back into hard again. I don't want to do that again. So right now I am trying to choose if I want to keep them or not anymore. I even cleaned out my bookmarks and got rid of all the cross stitching ones I have and all patterns on my computer as well including the ones I purchased. I even considered getting rid of my biscornus. And I might do that if we have to move, sell the big really good ones. I thought I would let everyone know this.

That sounds tough... What happens with me when I am doing that, even if it is a craft I only tried once or whatever, it makes me interested in it again. Of course, then that sets back cleaning for awhile...

☁☂Someone on a different site agreed with the hubby. To keep it for 2 years in case I want to do it again. But I have a feeling I won't. When I find out next week if we have to move or not I might make my final choice for sure. Then I will know if I have to lug it to a new place or not. Might make things easier for me to choose. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

I suppose. I never really give up on things. I mean, I have been cleaning out my closet and whatnot lately and getting rid of a lot of clothing that I haven't worn in awhile but when it comes to stuff I can make things out of... well I have a hard time getting rid of it.

☁☂ I've always gotten rid of other crafting things and it never bothered me before... But cross stitching has been a huge part of my life for over 20 years now and it's hard to make a choice about that for sure. It scares me to choose this and it also doesn't. It's so hard to find a good pattern that makes me want to get back into it. I even tossed like 5 kits that I started to work on already and ended up just throwing them all out. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

That's tough. As for me I would hold on to the patterns on my computer, regardless of whatever else I got rid of, upload them to my google docs or whatever. But everything else is likely replaceable. Embroidery floss requires much smaller amounts than yarn...

☁☂ Very true. Yarn is harder to toss for sure. Floss is alot easier to do. It's so much cheaper and smaller to store. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

But if I were to get rid of my stuff I wouldn't be throwing it away, I would sell or donate it.

☁☂ It's hard to donate stuff here. Hubby wouldn't want to take it to a store to do that. He'd let it sit in the house. I am selling two books of patterns. One of them is from oen of the best pattern makers of all time for cross stitching. Joan Elliot. She has outstanding patterns but I know realistically I won't ever do them. I did toss 4 magazines though and I could of gotten about $5 for each of them but hubby didn't want to sell them. But the books are 20 each so I won't toss them. Only sell them for sure. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±
