!!! My day just got awesome. There's a reason Chili's is my happy place. :)

So we sit down, waiter comes up and he's like "Double jack and coke?" And I tell him "Yes sir." And two seconds later there's a drink in front of me from one of my FAVORITE waitresses. The second I walked in she remembers me enough to have my drink ready. :3 And when Sarah had to run out to grab her card she told me "I hope you know that every time you come in, we'll have your drink ready when you walk in the door." And it just made me feel so good. I even told her about it, that when I have a long/bad day; I ALWAYS go to chili's and she told me she was happy she could help make my day better. :D

And a chili's? Damn shame. They have delicious food, some of the most delicious food, very southern. And the staff is just wonderful. They all remember me and I always make sure to write "Thank you !" with a smiley face and a heart as the exclamation point on all my checks.

Tho' you can get that anywhere; just gotta be a regular at some place, treat the staff nice and tip appropriately.

Kiddo; Hey now, I worked at a hair salon for two years. ;] I can go straight back to that conversation.

That's good! I always treat the staff as best as I can. I've had friends who do waiting jobs and such and they don't make much money. So I always tip 20% and over (if they deserve, if they're DB's then fuck 'em) and always make sure to be friendly and I generally say 'yes ma'am' or sir and always please and thank you no matter what. And you know what? They rem. people who treat them well. Just, I feel so good right now. :] I can't believe that happened, just but a damn smile on my face I can't get off. Even the ignorant conversation about Muslims next to us couldn't make me upset. <3 And that she made a point to tell me that they'll always have it ready and they remembered our order too. xD <3
