Don chuckles and takes off at a fast but light pace, going along the wall of the property. "So, what do you do at your job? I figured we could talk about our work a bit while we get our exercise. Do you like working there? Are the people nice?"

He's pretty curious, he himself just worked a simple job in a hardware store taking care of putting the stock out and organizing the inventory and tracking it all.

Vincent just follows after him. "I work the grill." He says simply. "Though not always. We kind of go where ever needed...unless you're working registers...then you get to stay there." He shrugs a bit. "It's alright...my coworkers, minus one or two are pretty awesome...some customers...well, not so much. But I've never had to deal with a horror story one so I'll just assume it's a bad day." He shrugs again. "What about you, where you work?"

"Ah, customer service can be a nightmare of a job. Glad that you haven't had any bad experiences yet. As for me I work at a local hardware store, its not a big chain one, its a family run business. I put the stock up on the shelves, organize the inventory and log the inventory and transactions. I usually work eight hour shifts on the weekends, during the work a few four hour ones." They jog for a few laps before Don slows down so that they both can pause for a moment and have a drink of water.

"All jobs are customer service. All of them. Just some...you have to do more than others." Vincent doesn't hate his job, though some days? The place could burn and he would be happy. He nods a bit. "They're lucky they still exist...Wal-Mart used to go send employees to look at prices and lower theirs until the place went out of business. I don't think they do that anymore really....well, the savings catcher, but that's it." He's rambling a bit. "But it doesn't sound like it would be too bad really." Where Don works.

"Yeah, that's one of the dumb things some companies do, and the other is jack up their prices for inferior products and such. And my job is alright until I get a customer asking me about a product and then saying I don't know anything about it and wanting to talk to whoever is the head of the department only to have the head tell them the same thing. Doing business is kind of like a catch twenty-two. You either do good for your customers/employees or do good profit wise, which could depend on the other two. It's really hard to get things just right to make money and have everyone satisfied so people tend to just make as much money as possible and not care about others. That's why with a small business where I work they are more concerned of keeping good employees and customers while still making money. We don't do a price match like some places only because we know that stuff can be expensive for the company to get, but we also have really good customer service as well." Taking another mouthful from the water bottle he starts up jogging again. "Will you be able to jog every morning or no?"

"That's what they did once other places shut down." Vincent says, talking about Wal-Mart. "That happens. Sometimes an employee may not know, may not, but most times, that is not the case. Usually they know more than the customer. I like when places are willing to work with you. Some places won't take back a hammer that broke easily, and other places will take it back once...come back too much like that and they'll wonder what you're doing to the things." He says snorting a bit. "Customer service matters a lot if you're competing against chain stores." He shakes his head a bit. "I don't know. If I feel like my legs are trying to kill me later, probably not." He says, snorting a bit.

"Yeah, if anything is not in the condition it was in when it left for the most part we don't accept it back. I know some places don't check like they should and some items end up being returned when they are broken and such. So maybe every other day for you then." Don chuckles softly, knowing how it feels to just start jogging and stuff since he didn't start until middle school. Finishing their lap he leads them back to the house, giving the girls plenty of water to drink while he gets a towel for him and Vincent to wipe their faces.

"I think if they can prove, somehow, that it's due to whoever made it messing up like using crappy material, a place should take it back and then complain to the company they got it from...but have a thing to keep up with who returns what, you know? If this guy is trying to return a hammer ever week or month, that's not bad workmanship...that's something else." He says. He nods a bit. "I'm not a runner unless something is chasing me." He says, snorting a bit. He just finds a seat when they get back to the house.

"Well, there's some legal stuff involved with that because we'd have to keep track of credit cards and everything, and there's been a lot of identity thefts because of this. Not particularly at our store because its just a single store, but it has happened at the big chain ones." Stretching a bit he heads back inside, holding the door open for Vincent, "Coming in?"

Going over to the sink he cleans out both of the water bottles and refills with with fresh water, sticking them back in the fridge and moving the older bottles to the front.

"You should probably get ready for work, I'll quickly make something myself to have for lunch since you don't need to worry about it."

"Receipts....like Walmart does almost...if you have a receipt they'll take it back....and if you don't, ID...and sometimes even when you do have it, I think they want your ID? Not sure." Vincent rarely returns things. He just pads after Don. "I hear theives are focusing more on ATMs and stuff now." He shrugs a bit. "Yeah, I'll be back in a moment." He says before heading to his room and getting changed into the uniform.

Well waiting for Vincent to get ready Don quickly throws together a lunch for himself, which consists of a container of juice and an peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He grabs a light weight long sleeve shirt, quickly pulling off the sweat shirt and pants. Grabbing some jeans he quickly pulls those on and buckles them, then grabs a shirt to quickly throw on. At his job they don't really have a strict dress code or anything, as long as they don't look like slobs.

Vincent comes back down shortly after putting his hair up in a small pony tail. He just flops down on a chair, waiting for Don. He kind of doesn't want to go to work, but he does appreciate money a bit, so he'll go. He only misses when he feels like he's going to die or something.

Don quickly hurries down stairs, shoving his wallet into his pocket, "Alright, let's roll." He leads Vincent to the garage after making sure the house is locked up and everything and that the girls have plenty of water. "You're going to have to give me directions on how to get to your job. I have a vague idea where its at since you mentioned the Walmart, but I just want to make sure you're not late or anything." Backing out of the garage he pulls out onto the road and starts heading back into town.

Vincent just pads after him. "I'm the only one who shows up on time, so if they say something about me being later one single time, it will not be pleasant." He says. "But, of course I'll give you directions." He doesn't like being lost or anywhere near it. He doesn't like late either, but they better excuse one time considering how the others have been late before. He's ranting in his head.

"Alright then." Following Vincent's direction he gets him to his job just a few minutes before his shift starts. "I'll swing by and at least order a drink or something while I wait for you to get finished, and maybe a snack depending on how hungry I am. Do you want anything in particular for dinner or just whatever we've got in the fridge?"

Vincent just kind of watches the world go by as Don drives. He nods a bit. "Well, I'll be here when you get off." Where else would he be anyway? "Nah, just food. That's my only stipulation." He says before snorting a bit. He then gets out of the car. "I'll see you later then." He says before heading inside.
